WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE HOME AND AWAY?

Sun Apr 29, 2012 8:48 pm

Reading home was my favourite game this season, thought the football we played that day was superb.

Boro away was probably the most important result at the stage of the season we got it and who it was against.

Favourite trip was Brighton away in the Yellow Submarine, still laugh now thinking about 4 hours of non stop 'great escape' chant

If you can count Wembley as an away then thats it for me. As i don't do away games... YET!

But favourite home is either Reading because of the football we played first half, Southampton because of the atmosphere and Kenny's brace when he needed it, or Palace in the cup which I dont need to explain :ayatollah:

My favourite game was Palace in the cup, but in the league possibly Southampton at home when they were top of the league :ayatollah:

Best home was Bristol City. For Bluebirds of my generation, they are still the big rivals. Glad they stayed up though.

Best away, Blackpool, for our footballing performance, and support. Could have done without the 2pm pitch inspection though. In September  Oh, and Kevin Phillips' wonder goal. Was right behind him, and he did mean it, whatever Malky said afterwards :ayatollah:

Home game was Southampton, Miller at his best.

Away I struggle to choose, always have a brilliant day with good mates on the forum bus. Pompey, Barnsley and Boro all spring to mind but yesterday was supurb aswell. But for me the best one will be end of this month when we beat Birmingham to get promotion :ayatollah:

Favourite home game was Palace in the Carling Cup, but it would be the Southampton game in the league. Atmosphere was great and we were playing good football.

Favourite away day has got to be yesterday at Palace. The first half I was shitting myself though, being 1-0 down and knowing that we'd be in the shit if Boro scored. The team were brilliant, we never stopped fighting when we were 1-0 down. Our fans were amazing as usual, "MALKY'S BARMY ARMY" was so loud and repetitive, Malky loved it when were chanting that when we came over to us at the final whistle. The smoke bombs and flares were class, got the away end bouncing. Most importantly, we made the play offs when we were predicted a mid-table finish at the start of the season. :ayatollah:
