Met police at it again yesterday.

Searching coaches. Confiscating beer. Treating city fans like scum. Whilst the wishy washys down our club pat each other on the back for being given these silly and meaningless awards nothing has improved for our traveling fans. How much longer are we going to put up with this shit?

until we behave better is my guess
Im not talking about violence as I've been there done it, no saint myself.
But I'm talking pathetic things like, damaging toilets, pising in gardens, smashing cars on way to the ground etc. All things I have witnessed this season. Petty and what does it achieve? I think you answered it yourself

I was told they stood off until a couple of fans started playing up, jumped off the coach still swigging then peeing in people's gardens and banging on windows.

The cops then decided to get heavy handed.

Our coach got 'cleaned' and people lost personal belongings as well as 'refreshments'.

Worse still at least one coach driver is being summonsed and the company we use (not due to our bus I have to add).

So yes, over-the-top policing and unnecessary, but also well done to the lads who couldn't walk 50 yards from the coach to the ground without behaving like arseholes.

Well I would imagine until we stop breaking the law. Alcohol on football coaches is against the law and has been for a long time. Youmight disagree with that law but that is how it is and while we give the police the opportunity they will take it.

I hardly have any problem with them. Only one encouter I have had with one in the last 3 years that could have got nasty. Some young cop at Forest got a bit up himself but a few calm words to him and he well basically shut up. Overall though most I have come across are fine.

The alcohol is not a problem. Normally the police are inclined to turn a bling ee to it. Lets be honest 99% of us like a drink and can handle it. The problem is 1% can't and if they p1ss the police off, then the police have the law on their side to hammer all of us indiscriminately.

People just need to THINK a bit more -unfortunately for some its just not possible.

Oh ffs. No major incidents with city fans for years. Family club of the year. Would the police have searched coaches, taken beer if it had been a rugby match? No. Are rugby fans better behaved than city fans? No. Seems a lot of people at our club use any little incident to criticize our own supporters. Its a cardiff city away game ffs. If our so called bad behavior upsets you maybe you should f**k off and watch snooker.

It doesn't mate and I would stick up for our fans all the time. The VAST majority are superb.

Our past haunts us.

We just can't afford to give the police any excuses.

its the petty shit that the kids get upto  back in the day what happened happened, now the slightest incident is plastered on social media, messageboards etc. None of it helps our cause whether you like it or not.

Without doubt we are victimised and there is very little justification for it. Personally I think the police trump it up so they can get some overtime in. At Barnsley last time we paid £30 for a ticket while West Ham only paid £23. Why because of the extra police costs. So we ended up paying for the police. I hardly saw any of them there  . Some fat cop sitting on his bum had a profit day.

Yep its winds me up just as much as the next guy to me. However it winds me up more when I see so called Cardiff fans acting twats only to help the police get their overtime in.

Have a bunch of peeded up fans getting off a Cardiff City bus and pissing in people Gardens was asking for a Police reaction don't you think ? Shame actions of a few fans spoil it all for the rest of us and gave the Police an excuse to come down on us

Shame the police didnt come down as hard on the scum who rioted over london last summer. They stood back and watched as buildings were set on fire and old people were mugged and beaten to death on the streets.

I agree , but that doesn't excuse what some of our fans got up too and we all paid the price . I was quite pissed off that all my drink had been taken off our Bus for the trip home

More than delusional if you think the problem lies with the Met, if some of our mindless idiots behaved themselves things would be a whole lot easier, lucky they even let us make our own way there after some of the disgraceful behaviour at Chelsea a few years ago.

Looking over that's what we did in the end . It's very hard to stop when you're being escorted out the area by the Police and why should people have to buy more drink for the actions of a few so called fans ? some of us aren't made of money you know

Time to stop blaming the Police and start blaming some of our so called fans for being mindless tawt's that yet again have to spoil it for the rest of us

Here we go Cecil here's a post i did previously on what really happened at Chelsea that day IMHO the MET were very culpable:

However there as been much written about Chelsea and i was there with my Daughter and was really worried when i came out of the ground to see hundreds of Chelsea fans who definitely weren't waiting to shake our hands and congratulate us on our valiant on the pitch efforts

There was also a distinct lack of police and the ones who were there didn't seem to be doing a lot my main concern was for my Daughter because at one point there really looked like there was really going to be trouble and a lot of innocent families would undoubtably have been hurt.

The question that has to be asked is how was this situation which also led to the incident where all the City and Chelsea fans got arrested and subsequently jailed allowed to develop?

The conclusion as got to be because the police allowed it, why weren't the streets outside the City end cleared why weren't City fans held in the ground but allowed straight out, why were Chelsea 'faces' who had not even been to the game allowed to drink in pubs in the immediate vincinity :?:

What occured at Chelsea could have been prevented but it suited the police and possibly the powers to be to allow it to happen and some of our fans reacted to the situation and paid an heavy price :(
