Hudson today

Thought he was immense. Some great tackles and hardly put a foot wrong. While watching, I thought he was a contender for MOM. :ayatollah:

His positioning and anticipation is superb. So many time he broke up attacks and gave the ball simple.

Top class yesterday a real leader, i used to be a big critic of him but this season he has been immense!. At the moment as good as any central defender around. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Is it just me, or does he seem far more comfortable playing alongside Turner ?

He's right-footed and Turner is left-footed. Perfect balance.

I also think that Turner's character seems more suited to playing alongside Hudson.

You never see them blaming each other, wheras Gerrard and Hudson seemed a bit quick to point fingers when they were together.

Turner seems a quiet strong man, and is unlikely to look to pass the blame on, wheras Hudson might think he's a bit big to be picking on

Like I said, it might just be my imagination, but I never felt Hudson and Gerrard really enjoyed playing alongside each other.

Yes he has been great this season in the main.
When he was out we were well shakey at the back.

The guy has been brilliant along with big Ben.
