Swansea's continuing small crowds

Sat Apr 28, 2012 8:43 pm

Struggling to sell out again today by all accounts…….only 19,400 when our last home game attracted over 25,000. Feel a bit sorry for our cousins down west in their small stadium with their small attendances……..pity for them really. ;)

How many more times do people on here need to be told to stop them making such tits of themselves. Their ground can only hold about 20,000. Probably a home sell out yet again today but not all away fans tickets sold.

So? That's down to a lack of ambition more than anything!?!?!

They have vouchers in local newspapers, buy one take 15 inbreds with you…….and they still can't sell out the council 'stadium of concrete'

And because he happened to be in South Wales anyways. I doubt he'd have bothered if they weren't training at the Vale Resort. That is unless he decided to have them train at the Vale so he'd have a chance to watch Swansea play.

I also saw them linked with Joe Allen earlier too.

hmmmm.....interesting - I can't see the Jacks holding on to him anyway.

He's not the jacks to sell, on loan from Hoffenheim who paid Reading £6million last season. No way Spew Jenkins will lay out £10 million for him plus what are bound to be high wages... For what its worth, I reckon Utd will go for Jelavic to replace Berbatov.

I bet you feel a little stupid now after your attendance v West Ham

That's 2 years in a row you've failed to sell out your play off game. Strange seeing as you claim to be such a huge club

It seems the West Ham fans were right and your ground's too big for you

They just don't get it , this year again has been a disappointment, gates are down , no atmosphere , 3 little bird's piped through the pa system ,crap team ,fair play being enacted next year which will really impact on them ,totally inaccurate predictions that we would struggle and all they've got to have a go at us is "small crowds" I think you need to take a look at yourselves & get your own house in order
Lif'e,s a journey ,some have pleasure and some not what, category do you fit in with ?

The thing with little old cardiff is they pushed for the promised land a couple of seasons ago shit or bust when they signed that Bellamy fella and failed....I can imagine the championship being a tough league next season for them!

They really are the thickest fans in world football. They're absolutely useless at internet banter and time and time again make themselves to look stupid and us their masters.

When will they EVER EVER learn how it all works. All said there's a handful of decent posters on here who are savvy enough to post sensibly and carefully enough not to make themselves look utter mugs.

The thread starter on this occasion is up there with the worst of them.

Harsh maybe but very very true.

He's on the wind up. Anyone with any sense knows you've sold out your home games and with 18000 seats for home fans its hardly surprising after 30 years in the wilderness and given the publicity and opposition added to the fact your ground is very small.

On the play-offs, bigger teams than us, like Forest and leicester have failed to sell out 1st leg of playoffs and you only had 18000 hme ans for your game v Forest last year. With the last of these tickets going at the last moment. thing is the play-off semi isn't a novely for us now, 6 of them in 3 years along with 3 cup semis a play-off final and 2 cup finals. Its no longer seen as a 'must attend' game. 7 lads who travel away with me and are ST holders didnt bother and I'm sure there were many like them. But they will be ther 1st game next season and for the rest of the year.

Masters

The only thing you'll ever master is your right hand.

Enjoy your moments of fame. 3/4 of your history has been spent below us, so watch out for the sunburn while you are out of our shadow.

Normality will be resumed in the not too distant future.

Why are there Swansea supporters on a Cardiff forum with hundreds and hundreds of posts?

Internet banter? Is that what threads like this are called?

well what are you bragging about? how big is your stadium? and do you know if you would sell out if as big as ours? no you dont know if you would why?????? because its not that big aso you can only speculate simples, dont boast about our attendances being not sold out ect ect as we still have more fans than you so until you get bigger crowds than us you dont have anything to boast about other than being in prem which doesnt concern most city fans, you could be in 9th div south for all city fans care :ayatollah:
