As far as I'm concerned he should never be allowed to play in a City shirt again. He's acted like a spoilt child this morning. I understand his frustrations but to act like that on what is such a big game for the club is unforgivable and shows why he isn't in the first team, stupid shit like that makes the club look bad and he should be duly punished for it.

The first could well be due to the fact he gets "fans" abusing him every match day in particular.
The second was in response to some idiot posting they wished they could get their boss to pay them for just sitting around in the office - because of course, no professional footballer would be itching to get out there and play.
The third is a response to the idiots abusing him.

But still, fans have the right to abuse, then get moralistic when it gets thrown back at them.

I can see why some clubs are making their players take down Twitter accounts, its a minefield. In this case he gets paid quite handsomely to 'sit in the stands'. Perhaps with all this spare time he should take some part time english lessons, its spelt PAID you thick scouse tw*t.

Seems football is the only industry where you're expected to take abuse from so-called "fans". In reality, the point is that those willing to hurl abuse ( using the paid enough, should expect it argument ) are then absolute pussies when they get abuse back.

Like it or not, it's an honest response by Gerrard. People whine about Sky money ruining football, well, you're getting honest responses rather than sanitised, PR driven comments. Get over it.
