The only time we bottled it was our end of season collapse a few years ago. We lost to a better side against Blackpool, and last season we just weren't quite good enough.

The fact we are even in with a shout of the play offs this season is a great achievement considering our situation last summer. If we go up this season it's a huge bonus as far as I'm concerned.

'Are Cardiff doing a Cardiff'

In short, describing Cardiff's season as yet another doomed to follow a well-established pattern is both overly simplistic and unfair. The raft of changes seen at the Cardiff City Stadium last summer saw expectations for this season hastily revised and lowered compared to the promotion ambitions of previous campaigns. Out went the manager Dave Jones, along with 12 players including Jay Bothroyd, Michael Chopra, Chris Burke and Craig Bellamy as contracts and loans expired.

Oh and we got to the Carling cup final too. Not a bad season really.

Not bad at all.But after reading this board lately then i can only see meltdown should you fail again no matter how good a season you've had.

Ah yes, Blackpool.

I well remember the Jacks celebrating that one, orange balloons at CCS the following year, indeed using orange as away colours this season.

Yet they conveniently forgot they blew a playoff spot the season Blackpool went up, mostly down to losing 5-1.

To Blackpool.

Who leapfrogged them to get into the playoffs...

"So near yet so far" is a term that could sum up City's performances over the previous 3 seasons. Frustration is a word that I use regularly to describe what it's like watching City play..world beaters one minute then less than mediocre the next. It seems we go through pleasure and pain in equal amounts whilst supporting our beloved Bluebirds and even though the play offs look a good bet with 1 game to go who would be surprised if even at the last hurdle we once again "blow it"? Getting to the play offs will be a good achievement this season imo, going 1 step further and getting promoted would surpass all early season expectations and lose us the "doing a Cardiff" tag.

Thank you for your support Jacks.

TBH - your petty boring shite makes absolutely no difference to us - whether we win lose or draw - period.

If i wanted a jacks opinion on anything - it would be how to dodge the tax man.

why the concern about us? -go and talk about your own 'meaningless' matches in the prem with NJ73, prefferably not here.

I am a cardiff fan wanting to know cardiff things -thats why i come on here. A bit of banter is fine but the amount of you guys on here and the amount of posts on here is embarrasing.
And this is when you are in the top league - you are still mixing it here!!!

Truth is - you are nothing without us

CARDIFF CITY - ONE LOVE - ONE TEAM :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
