Holland Willem II Made it back safely !!!

Mon Apr 23, 2012 9:18 pm

Had a fantastic time over in Holland, We flew to Eindhoven then our friend from Tilburg drove us into Tilburg. A fantastic city and we had a nice few days including a train trip down to Antwerp Belgium luckily made it back a few hours before their nasty rail diaster on the weekend.I started taking an interest in this team having met some fantastic fans from their club who came over to Watch the Cardiff v Swansea derby the last time we played. !!!! Willem won 3-1 and its great to see a different side to football compared to over here. Smoking and drinking allowed in the ground and techno music blasting it out prior to kick off. Roll on the next visit. Barmy Army :ayatollah: :ayatollah: Heres 3 days in 6mins lol

welcome back mate,

looks like you had a good one... hope the mrs didnt see it... early night my arse! ;)

sometimes its great to experience some football in another country, shows a total different side of the coin..

what i tend to find when watching european games is that it tends to be more of an event and a full day rather than turning up, kick off and home...

Cheers Blackwood !! thats right defo more of an event with the fans. They had a great bar for their supporters and the fans go in early to get their banners in place. The Tilburg Tifosi a group of their fans who organise around 10 times a year a massive flag display with banners being made and now and again get the green light for pyrotechnics and flares in front of the Kingside stand !!!! Im still abit limited on the net as just bought a new house and time is limited but will be posting more regular in next few weeks once the house is up and running !!!! Bloooobirdssss :ayatollah:
