Interesting i am sure he was the main City Striker a year or two before i started to go to watch the City 1969 ? i think if i remember correctly he broke a leg or got a serious injury and never played again i can recall my brother and his mates who were a few years older than me pretending they were him when we were having a kick about on our local fields .

He was a typical old fashioned striker who had a great shot and could head a football as well. He also was assistant Welsh team manager with Mike Smith and I took my Welsh coaching badge with them.

As far as I remember Bobby injured his leg against Aston Villa, when he was lying on the ground Toshack scored. After Bobby went off we were left with 9 men due to injuries but still beat Villa. :ayatollah:

One of my, if not the, favourite City players ever. Injured his leg against Aston Villa and ended his career. Give us a gooal, Give us a gooal, Bobby Brown Bobby Brown used to be the song on the Grange End.
