i think we will win it if we get there and i think we'll get there on luck the way we are playing at the moment isnt the best yet were unbeaten in 9 i think and we have defenders scoring from 68 yards out lol! think we could ride our locuk this year !

Well done Annis you have jinxed it now

I think we can make the playoffs but i think the other teams will be to good for us. Our only chance if they fook up. These teams have strengthened majorly in January where we did not.
Thu Apr 19, 2012 4:54 pm
Annis we will make the playoffs but we must go all out to win our last two games as that should place us 4th or 5th and that way we will miss West Ham in the semi final. I think we can beat either Birmingham or Blackpool over 2 games but may struggle against West Ham over 2 legs.
I would prefer Birmingham in the semi final and as they have lost Caldwell for the rest of the season, including playoffs, I think they will suit us better than Blackpool.
When we reach the final I think we will be more than a match for anyone over 1 game because of the togetherness in the squad, so different to the last few seasons and vital in my opinion, also the manager has shown his ability to prepare at eam for the big occasion.
This is our season and I've got no doubt about that.
Thu Apr 19, 2012 4:55 pm
I honestly did not think we would get top 6 a few weeks back.
I'm sure we'll be in the playoffs....and I think we will probably win it.
1 no pressure
2 experience of Wembley
Oh and experience of home and away legs with palace.
Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:05 pm
If we get in the play offs we can go all the way.Once we are in its cup football....we have had some success in that department.......also we are hard to beat away from home......we can get a result anywhere.......but most of all i think its because we have that bit of momentum going in...........just like Blackpool and Burnley........
Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:19 pm
Not sure, but I would rather take Brum or West Ham over two legs than Blackpool. Hopefully, we'll avoid them altogether as no matter how we play, they always seem to get a result against us.
Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:23 pm
Annis, you were lucky you were in Majorca last week when we played derby, I have never seen so much rubbish, like watching a kiddies game on a Saturday morning, so it is a no from me
Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:25 pm
Still work to do before the play/offs.
To be honest I just think the play/offs are one big lottery so I don't think we have any better chance than before.
The Carling cup run will come in useful tho
Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:34 pm
Oops, yes I'll give in there and I'll re phrase it, never have I seen a kiddies game kick the ball up in the air to a 3foot 7 year old when he is being marked by 2 4foot 12 year olds

if you get my drift.
Kenny must be right pissed off with mm's tactics
Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:46 pm
Yes we can go all the way, difficult to beat.
Distinct difference this season compared to the last 2 though. Expectations IMO are not as high as they were last season or the season before. MM has over achieved getting to the cup final and possibly the play offs. Should mean a bit less pressure on the team. Whoever we face it will be tough though. Just got to get behind the team and hope this can finally be our year
Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:52 pm
I don't know why but I think we are going to win everything.
Whoever the opponent whatever the challenge.
I never attend a game thinking we will lose.
Thu Apr 19, 2012 6:04 pm
It would be a catastrophic failure if we did not make the play offs now Annis and do I believe we could go all the way then I got to admit I am not convinced like I was in 2010 that we would go on and win the play offs but what I do believe is that the work ethic of this team, the fact we are difficult to beat and the Wembley factor of this team could just be the reasons that we achieve the goal.
Not forgetting the manager driving the team on and never giving up

What can give us hope this year is the fact we've had to battle right until the end season to make the play offs unlike in previous seasons , this should make our players battle hardened and on a high just to be there.
Keep the faith the 12th man can make the difference

booked my Wembley hotel weeks ago………this is our season.
Thu Apr 19, 2012 7:12 pm
We are in the play offs.....no doubt about that......but quality will beat us.
Thu Apr 19, 2012 7:16 pm
I expect the unexpected with CCFC. We could still eff up (it's happened before). Equally we could get into play offs and win.

Im not sure we have enough quality to get there this time but whatever happens i believe the team will give everything and will give nothing less than 100% and thats all i ask..
If we do win the play offs it will be because we have a group of hardworking players that play as a team and not individuals like under jones's regime

What like Liverpool did over 90 minutes?
A game we should have won in the 88th minute, and an absolute bottler taking our final penalty!!
Isn't in odd that we've dropped Gerrard and come into this run of form?
Thu Apr 19, 2012 7:23 pm
Fair play you have hit a bit of form lately,
getting the gritty results and you are scoring home and away from all areas,
I predicted you would finish 6th -7th (so looks like i'm wrong there)which would still have been a great effort
new manager etc,etc.
BUT-
In all honesty would you feel confident going to Wembley against maybe Blackpool
if it were to happen, I feel you will be very negative with losing there v Liverpool + Blackpool will it
be at the back of all players minds and all that???
It is on the day after all
Thu Apr 19, 2012 7:23 pm
yes we can go all the way with a bit of luck,as for why we havent in past seasons is irrelevant now,we got to forget the past and concentrate on now,it will be difficult tho as the three other sides currently in the play-of positions are the three relegated sides from last year, tho id rather birmingham in the play-off semis as i think we will hae a better chance to get to the final then who knows, hopefully the wembley dissapointment of the carling cup final will help them and im sure they dont want that losing feeling at wembley again

I'll give you credit where it's due but in all honesty i wont sit on the fence i want you to lose
in the semis to save you the wembley heartache. It's what most of you would have wished for us last year.
But i'm not the judge luckily for you on the outcome of this one,
still enjoy the ride fellas but it all changes when you get to the prem.
No joy at getting away tkts for many, etc etc

I know a few jacks and they obviously are enjoying the fact that the JBs are playing top clubs week in week out. The one thing that has frustrated them is some of the 'new' fans who never went to wretch field and complain about standing up etc... Regarding away tickets 1 of the lads i know who went everywhere in 90s is peed off missing out on big game tickets to the 'new' fans. Feel sorry for those who went to the Halifaxes and Darlingtons and now struggle-sadly loyalty rarely gets rewarded.

That is a fact, there's loads i know who had season tkts previously but couldn't get them this year or
even normal home tkts. Gold dust with corporate etc too blame- The company i work for is one of many
plus customers from Bristol who wanted me to get them season tkts.
Which i politely told them f**k off we didn't need you in our dark days we dont need you now.
A bit like when i told you lot when you moved into your new stadium it would change for the worst
Atmosphere, health + safety nonsense stewards killed traditional football values in my opinion
