Greatest Goals ever scored.........

Wed Apr 18, 2012 2:59 pm

Now if you watch SKY you can see some truly fantastic goals being scored week in week out throughout the various leagues in Europe. You can also buy various DVD's with the greatest goals ever scored but it's all subjective (Threw that word in just to confuse any Jerks reading this :D )

However what are the 6 best goals you have ever seen live involving either City or Wales my favourites in no particular order are:

John Buchanans screamer against Swansea in the 3-3 draw at Ninian Park

Mark Hughes overhead kick for Wales against Spain at Wrexham.

Craig Bellamys winner down the Liberty last season pure quality :ayatollah:

Brian Flynn against Scotland at Ninian Park after he must have played at least 100 one twos :D before slotting it past the Scottish keeper.

Joe Ledleys winner against Barnsley at Wembley great goal which took us to the FA Cup Final :ayatollah:

Jimmy Gilligan against Exeter not sure when and not many will probably remember this but he flicked the ball up onto his knee and off his chest before volleying it over the keeper fantastic goal.

Then last night Mark Hudsons goal was truly a moment to say i was there to witness what was an incredible goal which if scored by Messi or Ronaldo would be salivated over by all the pundits. Well 20,000 fans were salivating over it last night and Mark Hudson entered my top 6 favourite and best City or Wales goals of all time :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

What are yours?????????????

Whittingham free-kick against Leicester City in the play-offs.

Andy Campbell against QPR.

Kavanagh against Leeds (FA Cup)

Roger Johnson away at Hull

Mcphail overhead kick against Hull

And Hudson last night.

Unfortunately the only quality goals I see when Wales play are normally scored by the opposition....

That was a brilliant goal. Jimmy Bullards for Ipswich last season was top drawer too.

As well as the ones already mentioned what about Whitts against Boro in the cup quarter final. David Tong screamer from outside the box at NP but can't remember who it was against now and Buchanans winner against Wrexham in the FA Cup as well as the one against the jacks. Bellamy's debut goal v Donny for the feeling it gave the whole stadium. Adrian Alstons debut hat trick v Chesterfield. Turners one yard rocket at Wembley, Burkes last season following Bellamys pass from his own half - can't remember who that was against either. Sure there will be loads more mentioned but I don't think any will ever surpass Hudson's amazing effort last night - no doubt he meant it and hopefully it will encourage the rest of the team to shoot now and then from distance too. Poor bugger will get shoot shouted at him whenever he touches the ball now

Obviously Hudson's goal this week v derby
Gabbiadini's goal for northampton against us in 2003, was only little but i knew it was something special
Ched Evans goal for norwich against us in 2007/2008 season(i think) hit from a good 35 yards out thunderbolt
Ledley's goal against barnsley which took us into the final
Whittinghams goal against barnsley last season which was given goal of the year
Whittinghams goal against reading this season

No particular order other than Hudsons being the best! :ayatollah:
