Still what I like about this season, is instead of being there and either dropping out or almost dropping down, this season we have drifted out, (because of the cup)and are fighting our way in.

It feels better to be the team hitting form again late and being the team to break in, although not great tonight we ground out the result and somehow kept a clean sheet...

WOULDNT change our cup run for all the tea in china!

Me personaly think the cup run been good for our squad, all the new faces joining us in the summer, them extra games the cup run gave our players helped them gel without the pressure that comes with league games imo! Don't think the final itself done our players any favours though, especially coming so close to winning it like we did, a performance like that could have either spurred our players on or knock the stuffing out of us. Unfortunately it looks like it took a lot out of our players, but fingers crossed now, hopefully were back on track at just the right time
