Earnie to be playing the last couple of weeks.. i can see now why malkay chose not to opt for him! don't get me wrong i love earnie aswell as every city fan, but since he has started making appearances again he hasn't done anything useful at all..
i know he hasn't been given much time but for a striker in his situation he has to take his chances when he's on the pitch and he never did..
but i still think he might score the winner in wembley(if we get there) .

Came on and was lazy, couldn't hold up the ball and stupidly greedy. He offers very little to our squad.

Earnie will always have a special place with us city fans but like you say, he just dosent seem to have what it takes at this level anymore, which is a shame.

Luke, Earnie is not match fit at all, how can we really comment on a player who has not had a proper run this season or starts ?

He wouldnt be playing if he wasnt fit Annis. You said a few backs Earnie has said he's match fit and raring to go and just wants a chance. He's had it, he has only cemeted my belief that he's no good anymore. Not his fault, legs have gone and his pace can't get him out of trouble anymore.

He brings absolutely nothing to the team.
Yet again last night he had the ball at his feet and he put his head down and ran down blind alleys when there were passes on.
A city legend, but not a first team player anymore. If we played with a target man things may be different and he could playhigher up the field and poach goals but we don't play like that and Earnie cannot hold up the ball for the midfield.

Craig match fitness is a lot different than training, your not sharp. I agree Earnie is def not the old Earnie.
