But there are are no vids for
Marco Antonio Barrera v Erik Morales???
Aturo Gatti v Mickey Ward???

Hearns v Duran.....always stuck in my mind.

The Marco Antonio Barrera v Eric Morales trilogy (2000-2004) was pretty spectacular as I remember.
Two Mexican fighters who despised each other. Two split decisions (one each) and a unanimous decision for Barrera.

Craig I agree round 9 epitomises what both fighters stood for....
Naseem Hamed against Kevin Kelly was also a great short fight .
It also launched Naz in US.

All the Hagler / Hearns / Leonard / Duran fights
Corrales v Castillo was my all time favourite though. 12 rounds of toe to toe.

Most brutal fight I can remember was Robero Duran V Davey Moore. Moore was the light middleweight champion at the time and pre fight totally took the piss out of Duran big time, 'over the hill, has been etc'. Of course Duran absolutely ate him alive and the ref didn't stop it until the mainly South American crowd had had there fill. Moore never fought again and the ref never refereed another fight!

Sorry my mistake, I thought he knocked him out in the last round.

Julio Cesar Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor.
Chavez looked like he got battered for 9/10 rounds then take a look at Taylors face in the corner and its ballooned where chavez landed some concrete to his cheeks. Taylor was winning by about 10 rounds in the 12th until Chavez knocked him down with a few secs left, the ref asks Taylor if he's ok 3 times, gets no answer so he stops the fight. Contraversial as well as a great fight. Feel bad for Taylor as this fight ruined what would have been a glittering career...that man had the fastest hands I've ever seen and to see how punch drunk he is nowadays is scary.

Chico (RIP) was dropped twice and had a point deducted for removing his shield
And was looking at a 10-5 on cards that couldn't be separated prior to rnd 10.
But ring man and trainer Joe Gossens last bit of advice to Chico whilst re-applying his shield
"you really gotta f*cking get inside him now!!!"
Seemed to do the trick as Chico landed a Big right hand that effectively ended the fight and continued with a barrage of punches until ref stopped it ..
To call it a Classic just doesn't do it justice.

I could watch that fight over and over again. Controversial though he was out for way more than 10 seconds when he threw his shield.
