90 MINUTES FOR EDDIE MAY

Sat Apr 14, 2012 8:09 pm

There is no question what so ever that the 90 mins of pure 100% Cardiff city crowd can not NOT be there and dedicate their night of supporting the lads to a win for a Cardiff city legend.

I'm absolutely devastated of the news of MY first ever Cardiff City manager has passed away.

If it wasn't for Eddie May I probably wouldn't have got addicted to my home town club at a time I was following Leeds Utd in their 1992 last division one title win.

I was lucky enough to be drawn away from the TV set version of Elland rd, only for the better!

Eddie built a team I fell in love with - and I'll turn my thanks to Eddie May into a 90 minute dedication to a man that opened my eyes to home town football and a special love for the game at the ripe young age of 14!

RIP Eddie, always remembered, never forgotten.

Same here. But I was at that legends match and I am more than willing to show my support for him :ayatollah:

I was a 21 year old student and had followed ccfc for 13 years. Eddie's team was like a breath of fresh air after Durban etc...

The team played fantastic attacking football-let's hope that CCFC can do that for the next 6 games.

I was a teenager when I was getting a taste for Cardiff City. If I remember rightly it was the rick wright era, where the club gained it's 'family stand' at Ninian Park. This increased the crowd to a few thousand as opposed to barely 2,000 that used to watch. We used to be in Europe in those days for winning the Welsh Cup.

Happy days. Fondly remembered. Eddie May never forgotten.

Turn up in your masses Tuesday to pay your respects to a popular manager and a decent fella.
