Virtually all of the Liverpool fans I spoke to at Wembley were from Liverpool or thereabouts.

It is fact - it was on SSN and the guy was having problems trying to find home based Liverpool fans in LIVERPOOL!!!

What's pathetic are the amount of items on this messageboard that just seem to want to knock Liverpool all the time.

Craig - not a love in, but just don't like the extent of the posts on here against Liverpool, and wanted to redress the balance a bit.

In fairness, the original post on this one wasn't that bad.

Don't get me wrong, I was as gutted as any of us when we lost on penalties at Wembley, and the only time I've ever seen them play was that one game.

I just feel a bit defensive about them, because all the scousers I met both before and after the game were all to a person very complimentary about us.

Mind, if it meant them losing 10-0 today if it could guarantee us 3 points against Barnsley, then they'd be having a very bad result against Everton if I had any say in the matter

At anfield for the carling cup the liverpool fans i spoke to outside anfield most were either from london , sheffield even cornwall

true, apart from the liverpool fan from merthyr i spoke to at wembley, most had scouse accents.

Totally - dont understand how someone from one town/city can support another one?

My original thread although mentioning Liverpool would apply to any team in any division - had me laughing as the reporter seemed stunned everytime he asked thema question they were all speaking with non scouse accents

One team for me - my own city - Cardiff

It was a strange game the Semi Final. Bar one Andy Carroll free header which he cocked up I didnt think LFC had much hope of getting back in to the game until Distin gifted them a goal. I think they really missed there fella on loan from Spurs. Liked to of seen EFC go through but cant see LFC beating Chelsea or Spurs to be honest.
