Reading an average team

Fri Apr 13, 2012 8:50 pm

Watching tonight they remind me of us earlier in the season. Difficult to break down and dangerous on break.

I was thinking that earlier. If we had signed Roberts and a winger we could very well be them.

Very average team imo. Got battered tonight and Tuesday but got 6 points so they are doing something right.

The difference between success and failure is minimal.

We lack a le Fondre type player who can come off the bench and make an impact IMO

Not sure if Rudy counts as a footballer. Maybe a giant doorstop that breaks after two uses.

I thought it had been agreed that Rudy from the bench was even more useless than |Rudy starting and that mason was the best impact player we had?

He set up a goal against west ham from the bench

No I've said he is the only player we have to offer an an arial option.
I'd have him or Parkin on the bench without a doubt until we get better.

Oh well that makes all the difference then.

I think it's clear he deserved a 5 Million a year contract.

Well that's just silly, no one is saying that. He came from France league two and on a minimal wage and his quality prob shows that. But when I see the squad he would certainly be on the bench. He would have been a much bigger asset to have come on against Watford than earnie.

I don't think many would argue Mason is a much better option from the bench but that becomes irrelevant when he has started so many games the last couple of months.
