LIVERPOOL

Damian Comolli has been sacked as director of football.

He was the man who finalised the deals for some players inc,

Andy Carroll £35m
Jordan Henderson £20m
Luis Suarez £23m
Craig Bellamy FREE.

King Kenny has stated that he wanted the players and it was upto Damian to get them into Anfield.
Now Bellamy aside and Suarez as he has world cup champs lge and host of international appearances
How the man can justify paying £55m for 2 English players with very limited Premiership experience and hardly no International or European experience .

The sacking in my eyes is fairly justified but it shouldn't stop with Comolli.

Other news isn't it great to see the Scousers suffering

Yeah, really suffering -

Carling Cup winners
FA Cup Semi-Final on the week-end

Kenny Dalglish is one of the greatest players to have played the game, and has also won the Premier League as a Manager.

The pettiness of some

The Scousers are turning on King Kenny in their droves.

They have spent hundreds of millions in recent years and they have the Carling Cup to show for it, their first trophy in 6 years. A once giant of the English & European game are now a laughing stock. A club that now deems success a place in the top 6 of the table.

That's not being petty, that's the way it is. They live off their reputation of the 80's, and most of them still live there.

The other way of looking at it is that they are still one of the power houses of British football - have now stared winning trophies again after (for them) a relatively barren period and if they stick with Dalglish, may well turn the corner and challenge for the major trophies yet again.

Remember, since the turn of the Millennium, they've won the Champions league as many times as any other British team (in their barren period) and were in probably the greatest final of all time, winning it from 3-0 down.

I just can't understand the hatred for Liverpool on this board - its not like they've done anything to us.

So your obviously a Liverpool Plastic by your defensive comments..

I do not hate anyone or anything related to football as its just a sport..
Only Scousers I can honestly say I HATE are them two Fks who killed that Bulger boy..

And your "started winning trophies again" comment is a bit wide of the mark, it took a multimillion pound team
120 mins and penalties to beat a Lower teir football club.
I hardly think this is the return of the glory days at Anfield.

They are self pitying cunts hated not just on this board but by the whole of the country.

They've done nothing for 6 yars having spent in the region of £300 million!?!?!

Far nicer maybe, but the bumboys are winning trophies while the Scousers are getting matched by a Championship outfit over 120 minutes.

They drew a cup final against us and got out of jail whilst saving Dalglish's job with a very lucky penalty shoot out. I hate Liverpool and their South Wales 'fans' with a passion and wish them nothing but bad luck. Fekin detest them.

How can I possibly be a Liverpool plastic, when I wholeheartedly support CCFC and have seen hundreds and hundreds of our games (both home and away games) for almost 20 years now. The only time I've ever seen Liverpool live was when we played them at Wembley, and the only time I've ever been to Anfield is when Wales played there in 1997 and for a Euro 1996 game between Italy and the Czech Republic. I have been offered tickets to see them, but have always turned them down in order to see us instead.

However, I judge other teams by what I see (and largely their attitude towards us). All I saw in Wembley was Liverpool fans being kind towards us both before and after the game, and all the ones I met were very complimentary towards us - hence why I feel defensive about them on this messageboard, because at the moment there seems to be one anti Liverpool thread after another.

A few LFC's fans on SSN saying that while the FA Cup final and the final of the Carling Cup is nice they should be judged on the league and its not good enough. While Kenny spending £100.00 Mill should of done a lot better bringing in the players they have, with the players they currently have top 6 to 7 is good for them

Probably LFC fans actually from Liverpool. You wouldnt get a Soutb Wales plastic admitting to the truth, They are the worst of the lot.

Ive been on holidays down Devon and thm plastic Mancs are bad, this one pub, every year same guy in the pub Man U tracksuit, different collection of shirts, his own Man U pint glass.etc but I honestly think the LFC fans in South Wales are worse as they are so much in denial of how far away from being a top team they are. Even more so now QK is in charge.

But he's a legend!

He was scoring goals before they started supporting Liverpool and he won the league with Blackburn when he had a blank cheque and he won things at Liverpool with the best team in the first division and a settled squad. He's good at his job!
