My view in a nut shell to why british football has gone shit

all we want to do in this country is get pissed, shag, take drugs and gamble
we are definately the worst and yest it does effect performance but also the playing style needs revamping maybe add a touch of attractive exotic football and less lunge and hoof

One of the reasons is restrictions.
These bubble trips have spelled the end of football. Also the aggressive stewarding and over-priced tickets have turned lots of people away.
Hopefully we get the safe standing section and cheaper tickets in those areas. Like in Germany where you're allowed to take a pint onto the stand

I think our problem is hat we've stopped playing to these hoofball strengths of our players because FIFA and UEFA have convinced us all that only continental football is worth playing and the simple matter is most of our players don't have the technical skill for a passing game.

If we were to start playing to the strengths of our national teeams we would be in a much better position.

Players who do as they are told get preference over the skilful players that dare to take risk every now and again.
The game is shite and there's nevr any fights to watch now.

I personally think natural flair is being coached out of kids at an early age & what we are left with is a bunch of cloned players who are technically good but to the eye it's so boring, nothings off the cuff anymore & every team plays in a similiar style.I hardly watch a game anymore that don't involve City & even we are not that exciting.

Carroll isn't a bad player, he's just suffering from a lack of confidence caused by an overinflated transfer fee, a shit manager, a shit club and a style of football that doesn't suit him.


Put him back in Newcastle and he'd be banging them in, not quite at the rate of Cisee or Ba's early season form but I'd wager he'd have a solid return.

Yeah at Wembley he was absolutely shocking.


As I said though, his movements are more of a player who's given up because it's not going his way rather than a bad player.

I may be wrong but I'm sure if you stuck him in a team that played to his strengths he'd get quite a few goals and quite a few assists with his knock downs and knock ons.

He may suit Stoke but if he had "given up" because things are not going his way he shouldnt be playing the game proffesionally.
