Swansea fan in Peace!!

Just wanted to know your oppinion on your cup run! Has that had a negative effect on league!

Seems to be a regular thing with the cup runs, then you come up short in the league!

i loved the cup run. cup games produce better atmospheres and the weekend for the final was awesome. it may have affected our league form but if so then so be it.

fair point!!

League should always be the bread and butter. me personally, i hate cup runs, even though they generate good income!

You might be in prem league next season. prob wont be deserved but who cares!!

Then it will be time to hit the ground running!!

We wont be up this year, maybe next one or the one after. This is a building season with alot of expectation from people, obv it would be amazing to go up but there are a few teams that are stronger and could go up. A play off push will be good but still a fisnish between 7th 12th is a good season for us.
Cardiff will be more dangerous next season and we are not done just yet either ;)

Fellow fans in peace always welcome :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
I personally think the early rounds really helped the players get used to one another and give them valuable competitive time together. From the quarters onwards the boys must have felt pressure both mentally and physically, even though they are paid very well they are still human.
However the semi final home leg and especially the final was a phenomenal experience ill remember forever ,our lack of depth will ultimately be our undoing though and maybe a little inexperience from malky as our manager who I still think has done a remarkable job .
This team will fight till the end though unlike last season :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

agree lads! i def think that barring your cup run, you would be comfortable in play offs!

if you get to prem league the cup runs will mean nothing because your allready playing the big boys week in week out!

Yes, it's the school holidays and lots of bored young Jacks who've finished spraying graffiti on the local bus stops are looking for other things to do.

If (and I know that's a big if) we make the play-offs, the fact we've already been in a 2 legged semi final and been to Wembley already this year may well pay dividends :ayatollah:

We were never likely to get into the top 2, and then I would be glad to sacrifice any points lost for that valuable experience.

If we don't make the play-offs, then you may have a point.

The team will deffo not be overcome by the venue or the occasion.
Great point. (but we have to get there first)

I honestly believe that if we can stay in the top 6, we will have a massive chance to get up this year - but that is not going to be easy, but we're still in a very good position - 8 points I think will do it from this point in :ayatollah:

I'm glad they are taking time to come down from the pedestal to remind us of where they are and who they are playing

not the problem look at liverpool!! and they won it! lol no more to do with not enough strike force! fact lost 26 points from winning position drawn 16? and this poor home run against lower teams! if you alter couple results of games drawn and couple from points dropped when winning, we would be in contension for autos very fine line between success and failure oh musnt forget luck ! looking back at recent results some one above must be a bluebird!! :ayatollah:
