I thought when Irvine came in and you won a few games then you had turned the corner, but it seems you have not and are in a relegation battle now, shame to see Sam such a big club does not deserve to be in a position like that.

whats happened sam,wednesday always got pretty good crowds,i can remember going there way back in the 80s,we got dicked 5-2,we were 5-0 down,and ian baird scored 2.we were up in the stand above the away terrace.it was a pretty lively day if i remember.i,m not sure but i think you got promoted that year,you were top of the league at the time.and it was a big crowd that day.

We always get the crowds but its about the running of the club!!! We are a sleeping giant but the directors are dinosaurs and live in the past! They go for the cheap option and you finish up in the cheap corner!!! We paid money for big Ron Attkinson and got success then we pay for cheaper managers and look where we are????

Sam, I'm told Owls v Leicester is next weekend, am I right? If so, I'll be there! Vested interest of course with the Foxes with us in the table but of course I'll support Wednesday as vocally as I always do with my team!

Hows Mr Purse doing up there ?
Quality in his day and a great leader but slowly going past his sell by date i think. Great to have around the dressing room and i think he will be a quality coach

Totally agree with you there Gareth. I'm not too sure if he would make a good manager or not but I would be quite willing ot let him have a go here at the job.
