PAUL LAMBERT

Mon Apr 09, 2012 8:54 pm

Surely should be manager of the year.

Rodgers seens to be taking all the plaudits but Lambert has gone
about his business quietly and more effectively.

Perhaps if he wore Prada instead of tracksuits and used long buzz words he would be favourite to
win the LMA award.

Its has to be Pardew

Re: PAUL LAMBERT

I reckon Alan Pardew will be in with a decent shout, but you're right. Lambert has done really well this season with Norwich. I think they have what it takes to finish in the top 8, and depending on who wins the FA Cup/fair play league, that could mean European football

Alan Pardew by a country mile.

Re: PAUL LAMBERT

Pardew or Lambert should get it, but it'll obviously be Fergie the FA bum boy or 'Arry the crook

Re: PAUL LAMBERT

Last week Rodgers was 8/11 favourite, Pardew 2nd at 6/1. Lambert was 12/1.

Joke.

Agree with both the above names, for me it's Pardew - has done well with all the pressure he has been on since taking the job.

Yes agreed hes done excellent. When you consider what hes spent in the transfer market compared to say Liverpool, and the quality hes brought in. Staggering.

his policy of buying young and from lower league is brilliant.

seems like a proper bloke. mans man.

Very clever purchases.
A lot of good players below the prem who just need a chance.

How Rogers is even in with a shout is beyond me.

In my humblest opinion Pardew should get it hands down.

Then Lambert.

Even Fergie, 9 wins from the last 10, is a true great.

Rodgers has done well, but no better than Moyes, Hodgson or Martin Jol IMO.

Having looked at the Swans remaining fixtures I think they will finish in the bottom six.

A good achievment dont get me wrong to survive but hardly manager of the year stuff.

Agree mate,i would also put Moyes ahead of Rogers.

He's did well inEngland. Strange thing is, they reckoned he wouldn't hack it as a manger after his first job at Livingston was almost a disaster!

How do people think moyes would do as Chelsea manager?

I Don't think that Chelsea is the type of club for him (IMO).
Moyes has said he would want to manage Celtic one day,and i would say that Man U would have him on their short list, when Sir Alex calls it a day.

Agreed its that simple :ayatollah:

All you have to do is buy young players who are hungry,
obviously good,

no premier league experience and they thrive on it, Honeymoon period teams with youth always do well, then the best players get sold and they get second season syndrom and end up relagated or like wigan

tbh couldnt see him anywhere other than Everton.
