Wingers

I really hope come this summer that MM brings in some quality wingers as the game of football can be so very very boring without them.

Playing 4-5-1 is fine if you have at least two pacy midfielders to burst forward but currently we have no pace and in the absence of any real out and out wingers, MM has relied upon our full backs getting forward which would be fine if they could actually cross the ball. When we do actually manage to get our noses in front then its only natural for the full backs to play deeper but then we have no outlets and we get taken apart.

It was all so different at the start of the season, but like Swansea have now been, we got found out and teams now know how to play us especially at home. The lack of squad numbers and different types of players have left us with few options and its a shame the attempts to acquire some pacy players in January didn't succeed as things might have been different. At least the players we were being linked with were the type of players we needed so I live in hope that this summer MM will bring in the type of players we need to compliment the ones he has already brought in

I agree. We looked much better when Conway was on the field. More wingers in the summer please
