Again with the "fans should spill blood in supporting the team"
Let everyone do as they wish. It's all about entertainment and if it's perceived as poor people will leave.
Some of us are gluttons for punishment why else would we have watched 4th division footy all those years ago. Others want a bit more bang for their buck or they'll be off avoiding the traffic.

i agree with you there pal
people who want to avoid traffic should leave early, but people who leave because were loosing? is terrible

People pay their money and they are entitled to leave when thy want. Personally I wish they did not bother turning up at all.
Mon Apr 09, 2012 8:37 pm
Them leaving early is fine as they pay like the rest but hardly seems fair for them to restrict the view of others in doing so.

Agree, It doesnt half do my head inn

I have been going to Football matches for 30 years now
and I have never seen a ground empty and fans leave early
like they do at the Cardiff City Stadium.
5 minutes before half time the place is empty with streams of people flooding
down ther aisles before half time.
Same if we are losing or drawing, with 5-10 minutes to go.
You see people leaving early at some places but never have I seen the mass exodus that
you do at the CCS.
Its crazy and looks terrible.

Agree, In the Ninian Stand, if you sit near an Ailse seat you can only see half the pitch at times for the last 5-10 minutes due to the steam of people down the aisles.

Absolutely f*cking terrible to be honest. A couple were sitting behind me today and they were just negative, negative, negative. It just spoils it.

before you casgate fans i have been there worn tshirt more times than i can remember! 40yrs, for the 1st time in memory i felt like leaving well before watford goal we were awfull second halve and they were always going to score bet stats say they were in our half 40mins out 45 we had noone up front for long periods other than miller and he didnt get any service no wonder he doesnt score much, simple fact is we were so nagative for whatever reason to be untrue! god knows how we are where we are but fearfull of leicester comeing up, just fed up of bland football all goes back to transfers simple as that.

Seeing people leaving in droves with a fair few minutes on the clock remaining is frankly an embarrassment. The "Is there a fire drill" chant form away fans says it all.

Now THAT is a pain. I sit on an aisle so my line of sight to the pitch just disappears but people are free to leave when they want.

I haven't left early since Swansea in 81 and had no choice then because my old man was driving !
If he had said to me at half time yesterday, I think I would have gone !
Not just on yesterdays performance, but on a culmination of bad performances over many weeks, that I don't feel are going to get any better !
People pay their money and can vote with their feet !
I want to be entertained and I am not !!!!

Never mind those supporters who came and left early , what about the missing thousands again who never turned up ? Its them you need to have a pop at mate !!!

We are rolling in to are fourth month of SHIT football on the pitch bar two games I can remember so people have had enough of the crap being served up we have gone five steps backwards since january for many reasons which we all know and can see but somehow the manager can not see it. I say the them who moan about the people leaving, where was you when we was getting 2000-3000 gates at home games. So f**k off and do one as there's only so much total crap fans can watch before saying f**k this I'm off.

The only thing I would say in defence of that mate is we are not helped by being messed around with Kick Off Times and dates.
I buy my season ticket at the start of the season thinking in my mind that the majority of our home games will be Saturday 3pm with a few Tuesday Nighters.
Unfortunately, due to only playing 8 home games on a Saturday 3pm I have missed 7 Home Games this Season.
Our other 15 fixtures have been played on the following.
5 Sundays, one with an early kick off at that.
4 Tuesdays
2 Mondays
3 Wednesdays
and 2 early kick offs on a Saturday.
Giving all that, I reckon there are loads who dont normaly miss games that have this season.
I dont know anyone who hasnt missed at least one of the games out of all my mates who go.
I know its not the clubs fault and some of them cant be helped for TV and things.
But why are Millwall and Leeds early kick offs, and why do we continualy have to have our games moved because of the Rugby. For example Burnley, when by all accounts it was a Police free match anyway.

to be honest i feel sorry for them people who come from north wales and england who come down to watch the city, and not getting what they paid for?
id rather go back to the olden days, when we were getting 7 thousand in ninian park in the old divison 2

least were not getting these fickle glory hunters
i only come from llanelli, but i was talking to the lads on the train they wernt very happy on how we go from amazing attacking to dangerous attacking
and the linesman wernt helping!

It's up to people when they leave but it must have an effect on the players when they can see loads drifting out with 5 or 10 minutes to go.
It's basically sending the message to the players: "We give up, we'll never score".
As an away fan, I love seeing home fans leaving early when we're drawing or winning as you just know they're not going to score.
Players must pick up on it too.
Tue Apr 10, 2012 1:43 pm
definitely, I agree! It must be really disheartening for players to see their fans give up on them and they will in turn give up on the game! that's just human nature though i guess, and there will always be fans that do it!

I couldn't agree more - and this 'leaving early to avoid the traffic' is a load of old bollocks - Sloper Road is not the M25

If people NEED to leave for commitments then fair enough but I No sympathy
for people wanting to get home 10minutes quicker
Support the lads 'till the end
