Why isn't he changing it?

First of all, yes I would have taken 4 points out of the last 2 games. Yes, I would have been happy with 6th place and a Carling Cup Final at this stage if you would have offered it to me at the start of the season but............

I find it very concerning that since January we have been on a stinking run and yet Malky has refused to change things - particularly at Home. At the end of the day Malky is a football guy, he's played the game professionally and now managed a couple of clubs. SURELY, he can see what the majority of us see re the 1 up front at home. I can't for the life of me imagine that he is genuinely pleased with how we have been playing since January. What's more, the players must also see what we see. Why is he not changing formation - particualarly at home??

My fear is that he just wants to be in total control of the game and thinks that playing 5 in midfield does not leave us open to going 2- 3 down and so always keeps us in the game. This works away, but not at home and it is worrying that he is carrying this cautious attitude into home games. I don't buy the argument that we don't have enough options to play any other way - we do.

If this is an issue of Malky's philosophy on how to play the game, then we've got big problems as it doesn't matter who we sign the summer it's not likely to make much difference to the style of play or the results. It will be draws all the way and we've had 17 so far this season.

For me it is not conincidence that during many of the homes games since January the away team come out second half and play a lot better. I'm thinking of Coventry and Watford in recent times. If I was an away manager watching us in the first half the message to your players would have to be "get at them and push the full backs on" as we only play one up front. We then invite pressure on to us and invariably concede.

The lack of creativity is so alarming.......very rarely do opposing keepers pick up the man of the match and they don't have to do much. Watching Kuscack today, he spent most of his time during the game warming and keeping loose about the 30 yards from his goal!!!!

I feel like I'm rambling now, but I'm just soo frustrated !!!!

I think the problem is lack of quality to chose from in the forward positions.
I'd like to see Mason and Miller play together in a forward role more especially at home.

Today MM had no choice though and I still can't believe he changed it to 4-4-2 when he did, it cost us 2 points today.

The problem is he hasnt put a squad together that enables him to change it.

He just hasnt got the options.
