He was abysmal today
Mon Apr 09, 2012 4:58 pm
That's because he's stuck in the middle of the pitch with the other four midfielders he's a wide rite man always has been but as we all know nobody has told malky

bluebird1977 has got it right. Play him out of position and then berate him for not playing well. It's Richard Langley all over again!
Mon Apr 09, 2012 5:01 pm
I agree thought he was poor, but the biggest worry for me at the moment is how ineffective Whittingham is, he's a shadow of the player from the first half of the season. I read in another thread Mcphail being slated , I agree he faded after a good start but I thought we lost our shape totally when he went off.

Very good in his day, remember him taking us apart at ninian park for Sunderland. Another finished player out for a payday. We reap what we sow. £18,000 a week rumour FFs I hope not they are f*cking robbing the fans. The money this club have wasted and all the robbing bastards in charge over the years.

He played well against boro but weve got lawrence, mcphail and wittingham trying to do the same thing and not particularly well either

Add Gunnarson and Cowie to the list and its the one position we are well covered which makes the signing daft imo.

I've never been sure of what his strengths are.
How did he slip through the 'recruitment department' net?

I thought he had been.
Lawrence played part of today's game out wide and was still truly awful. A waste of money to please the moaning fans demanding a loan.

Blaming the fans because Malky signed a dud
Mon Apr 09, 2012 5:46 pm
No it's MM signing, he shouldn't have signed him and shouldn't be playing him.
I do believe they were looking for a loan to pls the fans tho whoever it was.

i fail to see anything positive he offers to the game, hes too slow and considering hes supposed to be a captain his discipline is dreadful.

If that's the case and he did sign him up just to please us fans and stop us from moaning then we truly are fuked lol

Lawrence is a wide player and IMO if used right could be a threat for us however Malky knows best
Mon Apr 09, 2012 6:14 pm
hed fit into a four man midfield but the formation malky is palying makes lawrence appear worse than he is.
If hed gone to one of our promotion rivals there would have been uproar on here mind
Mon Apr 09, 2012 7:21 pm
did a good job of hitting the 2nd man in the wall from a threatening free kick I thought
Mon Apr 09, 2012 7:39 pm
he has done nothing in that he hasnt brought anything thing into the squad

he wont be the first manager to panic buy when under pressure.

Watching lawrance today reminded me of the old bill shankley quote " his pace is deceptive, he's even slower than he looks"
