3:45am and waiting for the bus
Get on with 30 lads,some still feeling rough
The cans get cracked open and the music is loud

Breakfast time and we stop off at a cabin

But it's back on the bus there's no time to waste
It's on to Thirsk and straight in the pub
Back on the beers before we've digested the grub

Some of us think that he may have blew it
But rising up is hope in the air
I wonder what will happen when we get there?

Go through the turnstiles and arrive at the ground
I look around but Carl can't be found
Hes over the barrier and having a chat
With someone who looks like a big Scouse tw*t

5 minutes in and an injury to miller
We are fucked I think but no it's gonna be a thriller
Ball gets crossed in and it's put in by Turner
Lenny and the boys check their bets they are on for and earner

Marshall does well and keeps the ball out the net
I'm pleased for the lads who have won their bets

The bus is rocking on the way home everyone has banter
The guy Steve/fester keeps everyone going (he sits behind be in canton)
Some lads are smashed they've had all they can take
Some really nice lady handed me a huge smashing bit of cake

It's home now boys and thanks for a funday
