Blackpool have the easiest run in, but we have a good chance,

Let's hope we can build on today's win against Watford

Think if we had lost today it would of been tough to make it in to the play offs

Re: Playoff Run-in Fixtures

we must build on the result today with a win over watford at home, otherwise all the hard work done today will be worthless...

Brighton have a terrible run in , so i think its between us and Boro for sixth place. But Brum have a tough run in aswell, so as we all know, anything can happen in this league. But at this moment its in our hands and you cant ask for more, with five games left.

based on them results and presuming your saying the current top three of southampton, reading, and west ham, are out of touch, that would leave
Birmingham in 4th on 77
with Cardiff, Blackpool, and Middlesbrough all on 75 points,

meaning its another goals that count end of season.
currently
Blackpool +15
Cardiff +9
Middlesbrough +1

If you add together the current form positions for the teams in each run of fixtures for Blackpool, Birmingham and Cardiff you get this. Obviously the higher the number the better.

Cardiff 71 (3 home 2 away, 2 best form teams are home games, decent run, best of the 3)
Blackpool 78 (3 home 2 away a good spread of form amongst their opponents)
Birmingham 49 (3 away 2 home, a very tough run of games based on the current form of their opponents)

We need to be trying to catch these 2 and there is no reason why not, we have an easier run. It is clear to see the teams outside the play off pack have very difficult runs of fixtures. Somehow despite our poor run of results we are still in a decent position to make the play off's.

For me Watford is make or break, if we win that I would be surprised if we don't make the play off's, if we lose it I would expect us to come up short. Its so tight now we are running out of room for error and we have to keep it in our hands.Anyone who thinks Watford will be easy needs to think again, I think if they score first we will have a mountain to climb to try and get all 3 points.Watford are 4th in the form table and will come to Cardiff going for all 3 points in a must win game for them that could see them in with a play off shout themselves.

I've added Leicester's fixtures too as they are in the mix now with their better goal difference.

Millwall vs Leicester
Leicester vs Burnley
Leicester vs West Ham
Leeds vs Leicester

Let's not worry about this yet
Expect the unexpected with results, looks at our last 4-5 home fixtures and you would expect a hell of a better return than what we got.

Thought I'd bump it

We have three tough fixtures, as do Boro
We can do this!

I can't see bham winning any of their remaining matches. Bristol are on a good run of late, so can't rule them out drawing with brum, and can't see them winning the others
I personally think boro will be in the play offs with bham dropping out?

Boro will miss out.

I expect them to beat Doncaster Tuesday but after that they will do well to get 2 draws against Southampton and Watford. Birmingham have done enough andwill get the neccessary points in their 3 remaining games.

Who do you think will get 5th and 6th place then?

Just Realised Boro have Southampton
The Saints can do us a massive favour, makes Derby a must win as best possible scenario is we could be 5 points clear going into Leeds game!
