Best fish n chips Ive ever had is in Beddau

best chippy is on Station Hill Porthcawl (bit too far for you to travel)... there's always a queue out of the door...

chips in there are pretty poor these days,though all the other food is very nice...Dunnings in Ystrad is excellent ,also Steves in Treorchy are always good.

Get down the Mumbles instead. Johnnies on Chapel Street or Francesco's on Newton Road are both quality. If you're looking to buy fresh fish, then Coakley's on Newton Road is the place to go.

I can't imagine the Rhondda can match any of these.

Funny that as I seen Malky coming out of Frydays Fish & Chip Shop on Newport Road near St Mellons at 5.30ish. His missus was Double Parked outside in a BMW(M8 ALK). I hope the Club Diet is do as I say and not as I do.

If you ever pass through Brynna call in Leyshons, one of the best chippies around.

Best fish I have ever had from a chippy, nice crispy batter and chips were lovely too.
