Those not renewing due to lack of transfer activity

Fri Mar 23, 2012 10:19 am

Will be the same ones crying and claiming their loyalty come next season when we add to the squad and are closer to promotion.

Those not renewing because the football on offer is utter shit shall mostly be enjoying next season down the social club, with a number of betting slips and big bag of toot.

Call me what you like I shall be having more fun next season and Ill still have my memories of when going to the football was worthy of being the no.1 activity on a Saturday afternoon.

Sadly it isnt anymore. And hasnt been for years.

Football in Britain is dying, too much money has ruined the poor mans game.

Both I would say.

If you been supporting City for 20 years plus then you cannot deny its not the same anymore.

I've been a supporter since 1976 and a hell of a lot has changed in that time, some good and some not so good.

I've certainly changed a lot in that time and I don't get the same enjoyment from it that I used to. At the moment, I'm only really going because one of my sons enjoys it so much, otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd spend more time on my marriage!

Would you expect things to stay the same, you might not like it but you got to just get on with it

Havent got to do anything. If you are not enjoying something anymore you dont have to "just get on with it".

Even under Jones, who I rate much more highly than Malky, and the football was better, going to the football still wasnt the same. Its another national institution that the PC brigade have fucked up, just like Pot Noodles and Monster Munch.

True fans follow their team through thick and thin, good times and bad... when you've seen your team bottom but one in old division 4 playing in front of just over 2000 fans then you realise how good times are right now. I just can't believe how fickle some people are. "I'll be there I'll be there with my little pick and shovel I'll be there....... or perhaps it should be "I'll be there I'll be there with my little pick and shovel I'll be there but only if were winning every game!!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Totally agree. If we get to another final they'll be the same people saying they can't get tickets. Big time plastics we can do without

Derby County get 24000 season ticket holders every season. When did they last win anything.
Our fans have and always will be fickle.

It is a bit run down Derby. However one of the reason they get such high attendances are the amount of free tickets they give away.
