just out of interest as im bored, stuck in work, speaking to loads of arsey people tonight.
whats your views on sales calls?
do you give a sales person a chance or cut them off without even knowing what their doing or offering?
do you prefer to be called by your 1st name or by last?
if they was offering a free no obligation review to show you that you could save money would you take them up on the offer or fob them off?
just interested to see peoples take on it as work is terrible tonight lol

2 things that do my head in...
1) Surveys
2) Calls from Banks...
How do I respond?
1) Sure. Im happy to take part in a survey. I normally charge £30. (Ive had a variety of responses to that)
2) When I receive a call from a bank it is usually accompanied with a "Sir we just have to carry out a security check". My response is "Sorry Im not completing a security check - How do I know you are my bank - You could be fishing for information"

Banks overcharge you for anything they sell so not surprised they piss you off and i say the same thing to them
anyone that buys off the bank just because they been banking with them for years are just being ripped off for their loyalty

If that's how you speak to sales people not surprised you think their a nuisance because they wont take you off the system and will just keep calling you
be nice to the salesman and they will be nice to you!
suppose it would be better for me to be another 16-24 year old statistic on the dole sponging off the government rather than saving people potentially a couple hundred quid a year on their life insurance?
