" Are we missing Mcphail?? "

When Macca plays he keeps possesion, keeps the game simple, keeps midfield ticking over, works hard and allows Whitts to play his game and effect the game in more dangerous area's.
Im not sure when Macca last played and it may just be a coincidence. I like him and I'm not saying we have dipped in form because he isnt playing.
I was just simply wondering if we are missing him more than we all realise??

I agree, we have missed him in the sense of calming things down in that area of the field
We certainly (since his last stint of playing) have started to Panic in that area and giving away the ball needlessly

I would give him the first 60 mins. We could do with his experience, passing ability at the mo. There is mention of his sideways passing but he can put a decent ball through. The only thing is he does not fit into Malkys 'high tempo' game although we don't seem to have been doing that recently.

Never did Ray Wilkins any harm. When you have the ball your opponents cant attack you, McPhail keeps possession of the ball. Some of our players clearly need a spell on the side and McPhail has been a valuable servant of the club for a few years now.
