One of the strangest things I've heard during a football match.

not as strange as the conversation that took place just (seconds) before it.
as you will see bluetaf has a sticky going on about the laws of taking photos and broadcasting rights

as we were discussing this topic in depth, he mentioned there were two grounds that use blockers to stop mobile signal transmissions,
we were discussing the pro's n cons of this action, and Andy said can you imagine
"if someones wife went into labor and they couldn't get hold of the father because of the blocker",
and split seconds after the last word that announcement came over the tannoy, it was spooky

How long have you been going to football? I must have heard it a dozen times at our games over the years. It's obviously a wind up anyway, someone doing it to get their name read out. I can't believe Ali still falls for it.

I've never heard it at a match, thats all. Never heard it at CCS, and only went to Ninian Park in the last few years.
But as you say, probably a wind-up. Everyone has phones.

You can't blame Ali, we all know 99% of the time it isn't real but still it gives a few people a chuckle.

I got called out at NP when we played Burnley some scumbag low life done my car over, i was in the bob bank then, when my number plate was called over the tannoy, said to go to the nearest steward, as i was walking out with him the grange started singing ''you will never ban a city fan''

and i missed all the goals inthe second half

they guy next to me said all 20000 of us should av gone to watch her give birth as it was better entertainment than what was being played on the pitch! that made me chuckle!
