Atmosphere v Burnley

Can any season ticket holders from the Ninian, Family stands or Grandstand advise whether you found the atmosphere yesterday to be the norm?

Reason why I ask is because I transferred my season ticket from the back of the Canton (under the drum) to the Ninian stand so me the missus and our kids could sit together. The vast majority of chants start where we are in Canton stand so we might fool ourselves that there was a good atmosphere in the stadium on occasions (because it's loud by us) when in fact that doesn't necessarily transmit to the rest of the stadium or the field of play.

Yesterday, the atmosphere in the Ninian stand was absolutely dire and the Canton Stand didn't sound loud at all, only on 2 occasions did I remember it being relatively loud.

I know the game didn't offer any inspiration for us and didn't provide any excitement or lift, however I was just wondering if yesterday was how it is all the time???

It was just shite. Same as the Peterborough and West Ham games. Large portions where NOBODY said a word. I moved down to the front of the Canton so I could be with my mates, and looking back only 1 or 2 were clapping to the drum. So I felt like a dick down near the front.

And a question. Why the f**k did the drummer start playing 'We Will Rock You'?! Embarrasing, even more so when people starting singing to it.

One enjoyable part to the day though was when it came over the tannoy that someone's wife had gone into labour. Huge cheer from the Canton end

I moved for the same reason from the dire family stand to 111 and got to say the Canton tried hard to get things going but the rest of the ground was dead.
I need to move my ST from the family stand next season cant take no more :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I sit in the Ninian (117) by the away fans and I hardly ever hear the Canton, just the big drum echoing around the stadium. There needs to be more "singers" by us! The away fans constantly chant about how our support is shit and that needs to be changed. The first season at the CCS was class in the Ninian but loads moved.
