Great little blog put together by Twitter's "Roathboy" Scott Johnson, of Bluebirds banter!

Anyone expecting to see any transfer activity at Cardiff City this week? No, me neither.
With Haris Vuckic returning to Newcastle and the forthcoming closure of the loan transfer window, this is a week that could make or break Cardiff's season. My expectations may be low, but the available options are encouraging, amongst the bloated ranks of the Premier League elite.
Malky is believed to have been in contact with both Arsenal and Chelsea in recent weeks, they certainly boast some excess attacking options that would be worth considering. Arsenal's Park Chu-Young is free of national service obligations and would add energy to Cardiff's tired side, while fellow South Korean international, Ji Dong-Won of Sunderland, is also an option.

Lucas Piazon has yet to appear for Chelsea, but they paid £5m to acquire his services from Sao Paolo in the summer. After scoring two hat-tricks for Aston Villa's reserves, Andreas Weimann netted his first senior goal in the recent 1-0 against Fulham, the Austrian also spent time on loan with Malky at Watford last season.
Cardiff missed out on the signings of both David Goodwillie and Marvin Sordell this term, both of which have played a minimal amount of football for their new clubs and may be worth a phone call. Simon Vukcevic arrived at Ewood Park with an impressive reputation forged with Sporting Lisbon and the Montenegro national side. He has yet to force his way in to the Blackburn side but is an impressive creative midfielder.
Simon Cox netted a hat-trick against Cardiff earlier in the season but remains on the fringes of the West Brom side. Graham Dorrans was their creative fulcrum in their promotion season but has struggled with a series of injuries since, we would be a very shrewd acquisition. QPR have 10 forwards to choose from, so the likelihood is that the likes of DJ Campbell and Tommy Smith, a recent target, will be shipped out. Jay Bothroyd anyone?!
Everton boast the likes of James McFadden, Magaye Gueye, Apostolos Vellios and Victor Anichebe, a pool of attackers that appear infrequently. Ross Barkley is one of the brightest prospects in British football, a loan spell may aid his development.
Liverpool's Raheem Sterling is also very highly regarded and is believed to be frustrated by a lack of senior football, Jonjo Shelvey may also return to the Championship after a successful spell at Blackpool earlier in the season.
Fulham are a team on the rise and are developing an array of attacking talent. Kermi Frei has impressed on the wing in brief cameos, while Pajtim Kasami and striker Orlando Sa compete for regular football. Former Welsh international Simon Davies has also returned to fitness recently and could represent a calculated risk.
Ricardo Fuller was already out of favour at Stoke, before receiving a red card against Chelsea, which is likely to further restrict his first team opportunities. A powerful presence with second tier experience, he would certainly beef up Cardiff's front line. Manchester United and Spurs have a wealth of promising youngsters, including Paul Pogba, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Will Keane at United, plus Danny Rose, Jake Livermore and the out of favour, former Barcelona prodigy Giovani dos Santos at Spurs.
Premier League clubs will be weighing up the advantages of player development versus retaining cover for injuries and suspensions at this stage of the season. Championship clubs have to speculate to accumulate in the next few days, as an injection of energy and enterprise may prove to be the difference between automatic promotion, the play off's or mid-table obscurity.
The final few weeks of the Championship season tends to resemble crabs in a bucket, hopefully Cardiff can do the necessary business to finally clamber out of the division.
