the stewards and the lad marshall gave the ball to after

the game......in the family stand......the steward was out of order...the lad gave a round of applause to marshall at end of game...and marshall clapped to the lad...he then threw the ball to the 15 year old..only for the stewart to demand it back..eventually the lad threw it away and the stewart followed the lad into the staircase and i assume to eject the lad even thou game had ended.....the stewarts and the stewarting policies have to have a real good look at what power they have and how far it should be taken...and to the stewart would he have been quite so forceful with a 40 yearold bloke...i think not...shocking

A couple of older fans approached the steward to express their opinion of the matter. During the conversation the steward supervisor and the young lad came back into the stand where the talks were going on. The supervisor was advised that Marshall actually handed the ball to the lad and the steward demanded it back resulting in the lad throwing the ball away in frustration.

The older gentlemen asked the steward why he demanded the ball back and he did not give a satisfactory answer. The supervisor then said he would approach Marshall to see if he did actually hand the ball over to the lad. Hopefully the young lad will end up with the ball.
