1 Goal is all the difference between everyone being happy clappy chappies to being suicidal.
If Cardiff had scored just 1 goal on the weekend we'd have been 4th in the table and everyone would be smiling. Because that didn't happen there seems now to be a queue on the window ledge with bodies flying everywhere. Get a grip lads ffs.
Why is it in Welsh sport we don't have any grey areas. We are Bipolar as hell. You look at the rugby. Everyone is happy and getting pissed etc. But if you look at it Wales could easily have lost 3 of those games, they didn't because they just had the rub of the green. If they had though, then there would have been public hangings of the players and coaches etc. Just because of one score. In some of those games Wales played rather badly yet the result is all people worry about.
Same with Cardiff. If they'd have nicked a goal, no matter how badly it was scored, no one would give a toss about the performance. You would have come on here this morning to be met by lots of posts saying how great this team is and how great the manager is. 4th in the table whoopee do!..
Can't we have a slice of reality cake please with a side order of happy pills? Cardiff are still there abouts, we will finish in the play-off's, get over it!

yeah i still reckon we'll finish in the play off's, I just don't fancy it against west ham!.
I would rather them go up automatically, and face any of the others, even the saints.

we said last week with 3 home games, and 7 seven left at home at that time we would be laughing. at least 7 pts to be gained from 3 not so difficult home games. well 2 in and we have 1 pt from 6.. coventry wednesday doesnt look that easy now and from the recent performances 1 pt is not even guaranteed. if we have aspirations of finishing in the play offs we must act now and sort it out...
other wise we may as well use some of the youngsters to gain experience and settle for mid table..

Its not the lack of a 1-0 win that is concerning. More concerning for me is the way we are playing. We are playing with no confidence and that reflects on the pitch. Everyone seems 'frightened' to have a go at goal. Every team that comes to CCS has a pop at goal in around the 20-25 yard area. The only one that seems to have a go for us is Whitts. Conway used too but then he was dropped ! If you don't give it a go then you will never score.

I'm not convinced it was just 'rub of the green' that turned those matches into wins for the rugby team - they had the ability to make it happen - can the same be said for the Bluebirds

My dear Berwyn is it not conceivable that if by some off chance we would have scored a goal albeit of someone's backside that our noble defense would have conceded one or more goals to Burnley.....moral of this posting...be careful what you wish for

I agree with op here -
We are still very close - let's not push the panic button just quite yet!
We can still go up

"If" your Auntie had bollocks she would be your uncle.
Its not just about Sunday, its been the crap served up over the last two months thats making people miserable.
Start of the season I called us a "boring" team to watch but was told results over performances.
Well sadly both the performances and the results have got considerably poor since the turn of the year.
Only the most fool hardy of optimists really believe we are a side capable of getting in the play-offs.
