Post match interviews

Eddie Howe: "Thought we were good value today. We passed the ball very well and the lads were very brave, and were a credit to the club with some of the football we played. Hopefully this will be the start of a good run for us"

Malky Mackay: "Good clean sheet for us, and its now 1 loss from 4 and thats something to take forward. We limited the opposition to no shots on goal in the final 60 mins of the match and we kept probing etc..."

I'm sorry, but both of these managers are blatantly trying to fool those who didn't attend today with a shite load of spin, as those who were at CCS today will know that they won't watch a worse match in many a year from now.

What planet is Eddie Howe on first of all? Burnley were absolutely shit today, just like us. Neither team passed the ball to a Championship level and if I was a Burnley fan I would'nt bet on todays game being the start of a good run, I'd be more inclined to suggest they might slide down the table. If we played a team today who could actually put a threatening decent move together then we would've lost by a shed load.

As for Malky's comments, he's much better than throwing that crap out there at us. Yes it was a clean sheet, but as I said that was only due to Burnley being piss poor. We can't string a couple of passes together at the moment, and when we do it's so laboured the opposition is just standing off and soaking it all up with a smile on their face.

Today's match cannot be glossed up and continued performances of that nature will seriously impact on our attendances within our 'fair weather' fan community. Totally void of any degree of entertainment or excitement which was reflected in it's entirety within the atmosphere - there is literally no lift.

Glass half full and that - it was a point and we're still in the mix + the only way is up performance wise

I know everyone is very disappointed with our recent performances, but luckily the teams around us have been taking points off each other. Hull and Boro both have tough away fixtures on Tuesday, so 3 points against Coventry could well see us back in the play offs.

I really think our problem is still one of form. The players are clearly trying but it's just not going for us at the moment. If we can just put in a good performance on Wednesday. We can but hope :ayatollah:

I honestly dont think we can play much worse than we are at the moment so the only way is up,we can go on about start of season expectations the dark days of the 90s etc but we have a bunch of very talented players and a young manager whos been a breath of fresh air but things just simply are not coming together at all
coventry have not won an away game all season,if malky puts out the same starting 11 in the same formation,i honestly see another game exactly like today
come on lads,we know you can perform now show us something

Yes 1 loss in 4 does sound better than 2 in 5 or 3 in 6

9 points out of 30 in ten games thats in the bottom four of the league form table
he always says that ive noticed in interviews if we lose two games then draw and win the one after he will say thats 4 points out of 6 ,always used the draws or wins and however many games to cover up the fact we are total garbage rite now
