Better to expect less and get that or more than you bargained for, than set yourself up for a huge fall, e.g the 2010 playoff final where we all expected to win.

I did expect less, I expected mid-table.

You expected mid table at the start of the season, surely by January your expectations had changed?

Nope, cause I wanted us to steadily build up for a few sesaons and to be honest, I didn't expect us to buy in Jan.

Barrie we was nearly in the top two. Then we was in the play off places. Now we are outside the play off places. And you now say its all rosey because we are pushing for a play off place. But to be honest i cant even see where a single goal is going to come from let alone a win. That today was total drivel, i have never seen such an inept play with the players bunched together. Burnley were also shit but at least they used the whole pitch and in the first half they were unlucky not to be 2 or 3 up. Malky seems to have lost the plot i am sad to say.

Taken your blue-tinted specs off and amended that for you ;)

Why pretend everything is rosy when it is quite plainly falling down around us. Yes, second half today was better than the first, but the first half was as bad as anything I've witnessed in 3 seasons.

To be called a plastic because I'm not happy? I'd say the ones who pretend nothing is wrong need to take a look at my boys face as he walked out of the ground with me today.

As Annis said on another thread. He's learning.

Bare in mind Nukes, this is his what? 2nd? 3rd season as a manager? Which was Watford, whom's aim was pretty much to survive considering their financial woes.

Well, if I'm the only one who wanted that, I really don't care. At the end of the day, it's up to what the Board want, does it matter to the club what I want? NO.

I'll give you that, however, having a bad run SHOULD (not saying WILL) be the lesson Malky needs. Hopefully, he'll see the mistakes and correct them.

i have to agree with this... burnley were woeful and couldnt pass water, however they could see the spaces and used the whole pitch to create chances...

our tactics, formation and set up is all wrong.. were are too narrow, the wrong players are collecting the ball in the wrong area and have nothing to aim for... we need to use all the pitch, stretch the opposition from side to side to create the spaces..

this is basic football and we still cannot understand how to do it... malky is the manager and im sure he can see what we can.. we must make changes to the line up... i dont think today we managed more than 5 consecutive passes...

Couldn't agree more Canton...I bet everyone and I mean everyone who posts on this forum would have taken mid table at the start of this season with all the upheaval at the Club and we are still well in the mix for the Play Off's (if we had won today we would have been fourth!!!). I honestly thought we could have been staring relegation in the face at the start of the season but the lads have been brilliant for the majority of the games and low and behold some still come on here to criticise. In my opinion everyone should take a reality check and open their eyes to what great strides this club and it's manager have achieved in the last 9 months. Onwards and upwards for the mighty Bluebirds....... :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
