ARE THE BOARD BULLSHITTING US?

Sun Mar 18, 2012 7:31 pm

The 4.5 million pound transfer fund, the money from the Carling Cup final supposed to be for squad strengthening, the lack of signings in the transfer and loan window, same old shit different season. No this is not a dig at the Malaysians only, its a dig at the WHOLE board.

Is Malkay being told to lie to, with his recruitment philosophy, there were plenty of players we could have brought in, other teams certainly have, so if these funds were available why the lack of signings.

Dai,
Malky was very out spoken before he went to Malaysia this year and came back with a new contract.

He also stated back in Oct publicly 3 times, this squad needs strengthening, if we are to go up.

Surely January was the right time to buy a few needed players. I feel it is an opportunity lost, however I always thought we would be in mid-table. Given the players that left in the summer :old: :old: :old:

We knew we had to buy and we never, other clubs knew they had to buy and they did.

there has never been money available for players during this season. if there was it would have been spent. anyone who thinks otherwise needs their f*cking head examined.

there was a rumour in the new year that we bidded 3.5mil for someone and it was rejected. if that was true some of that money would have been spent elsewere.

I'll reserve judgement on the clearing debts part, until they start to do so.

agree that 3.5 mil could have been used to buy 2 or 3 players.. i believe the bids were made knowing we wouldnt get the players to please the fans.

anyone can bid on a porsche on ebay and not really have the funds available, knowing that another bid is going to come in anyway.

They are all bullshiting us. From top to bottom. One day we'll get a decent owner who doesn't f**k us over financially.

If they told us the truth, even if it was bad, I would still accept it and move on. But saying we have millions to spend and then f**k all goes out on transfers... something is wrong and I want the truth from the little rats. At least we would have peace of mind.

There are 'certain' individuals who are keeping their head down since the Transfer window closed and no-one come in. It doesn't give me any pleasure bluebird1977 to say that we and a small number of others were right all along. In my opinion these Malaysians are no better than Ridsdale, good with the PR but thats all.

Can someone give me the name and a quote from the board member who said 5m was available?

Re: ARE THE BOARD BULLSHITTING US?

Mon Mar 19, 2012 6:01 am

He didn't actually say 5 million available but TG did say:

"Malky has always had our support in the transfer market and we will leave that entirely up to him how he wants to do so going forward," vowed TG. "The money is there if he wants to use it.

"We have been working really hard and doing well in the league as well but we take nothing for granted. We must keep our focus.

"But we will support him and the club throughout this journey.

We have a good relationship and we speak a lot.

"We are together and want the same thing so there is no such thing as knocking on my door.

"He knows he has my support because we are on the same side. What Malky needs is down to him, it's his call."

Lets stop the bullcrap and start blaming Malky , just like you would with Dave Jones. We also brought new Players in and its not Like Reading, Blackpool or Middlesbrough brought many new players in. One can make all the excuses we want , the players and the Manager need to do far better and its noting new, we've been playing shit since Christmas .

Malky needs to sort it out, thought to be fair it's just the 1st season and maybe we should be happy with a top 10 finish

I believe that the Malaysians may have clawed back some of the millions they have put in this year hence no signings. Malky quite rightly was given a contract extension I hope its not a case of "sign the contract but keep quiet on bringing players in"

Is it me!!!
