All need to be dropped.
Gunnar - Not what he was a few months ago. He used to allways be running into the box to support Kenny and often found himself on the scoresheet. But now he doesnt get in there and leaves Miller in there on his own.
Mason - Young boy, a lot of potential talent, will definitely go far. But he's played too much lately and he's not ready for the workload thats been put on him. Also it doesnt help when he plays out on the right. Non-existant today.
Cowie - Awful lately. Keeps running and working hard, yes. But another player out of position, he's not a left midfielder, he's a central midfielder.
Kenny - I'll stand by it, give the lad a rest, even if just for one game. His shooting was pathetic today and he never troubled Grant. Does seem like his confidence is coming back when were singing his name though.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Conway - Needs to start. Only player who looked like creating something today and you can see why we havn't done well lately without him in the side. Could have been used a lot more today though.
Kiss - Where was he today? Full of energy, fresh legs, gets forward. Ideal replacement for Gunnar on wednesday.
Earnie - Needs to be given more than 15 minutes if he's to have any impact. The balls coming into him today were awful yet people are complaining that he fumbled everything? Start him on wednesday to take a little pressure off Miller.
So for wednesday:
I dont expect to see much change, as Malky picks the same 11 every week. But this is what i'd like to see.
--------------Marshall-----------------
Blake----Hudson----Turner----Taylor
----------------------------------------
-------------Whitts----Kiss------------
Lawrence----------------------Conway
--------------Rudy---------------------
---------------------Earnie------------
SUBS: Heaton, Kev, Cowie, Gunnar, Miller
Coventry arent really a physical team, so Kiss would have to come in, and save Gunnar for Brum.
lawrence needs to be played on the right which is his actual position. While Conway needs to be in to provide that extra width.
Rudy is likely to be back for wednesday and would be a goos strike partner for Earnie IMO.
NO HOLDING MIDFIELDER - We need to go all out attack for this game so we dont need Whitts acting as a sweeper, but more of an AM like in the 09/10 season.
Massive game next saturday so to rest some key players would be fantastic.
What i'd like to see for Brum:
---------------Marshall-----------------
Kev-----Hudson-----Turner-----Taylor
-------------------------------------------
-------------Cowie----Gunnar------------
Lawrence-------Whitts-----------Conway
-------------------------------------------
------------------Miller-------------------
SUBS: Heaton, Blake, Kiss, Mason, Earnie
Maybe swap Gunnar and Whitts around. But plenty of cover for all positions on the bench
