I JUST DON'T GET IT.

Why on Earth did Malky start the same team easily beaten at home in mid-week? It didn't work against Hull, so why would it against a similar team like Burnley?

Outside of what seems to be a 'guaranteed' starting line-up Malky has a few decent players, and they should all be used in this final third of the season. I'm not just talking about bringing Earnie in for Miller (who's in the worst goalscoring form of his career), but the likes of Conway, Blake and Naylor.

Lawrence (due to being out of position for the first half), Gunnarsson and Taylor were shoddy today in terms of passing and urgency. It was only when Conway came on that City's game started to flow a bit more.

I'm not calling for Malky to be sacked (who in their right mind would do that?) as he's exceeded the expectations of many this season, but the obvious things have to be highlighted and changed.

I was hoping for 7+ points from these three home games. The most we can grab now is 4. Fingers crossed the Cardiff City I love be back on track soon.

Malky is young/enthusiastic/full of passion/raw and still learning.

Agree Annis :ayatollah: - But next season i would like to see Malky start off as he did this season, and then look to bring in new players before the end of the Jan' transfer window...which would have made a difference this season ( IMO ).

yes in the summer ,and if we are in the same position we were in this season - re build the squad in Jan.

The reason we did not add to the squad in Jan...is why we are where we are now....players who are tired.

I dont buy the tired theory mate, proffesional athletes should take two games a week in their stride..

Agree with you that they are proffesionals and should take two games a week...But try telling Bellers that ;)

When the 3 teams who go up are known...lets see how many players they have used,up to Jan we had played more games in our division, apart from B'rum.

But if they are tired why not use the other players ? Kiss,Conway,Blake could have started to give players like Cowie,Gunnarson and MCnaughton a break and if nothing else will keep players on their toes knowing nobody is sure of their place. We can't complain of a small squad and tiredness when there are some players who aren't getting a game but had played when we were playing well during november?
