I go to EVERY home game and away when i can, but i leave early on some night games when im working nightshift, e.g the last 10-15 mins, does that then not make me a loyal supporter.

cringe everytime I hear the chant of ''loyal supporters''
I hear it in the canton late in most games
therefore I must be one as im still there to hear it :?
dont class myself as anymore loyal than the ones who pay the same as me for a season ticket and choose to leave after 85mins when were 3-0 down though :?

Id rather be at the game for 75-80 mins than none at all, work commitmments come first unfortunately, thats what pays for the season tickets.

Where I sat last year in the corner between canton and ninian theres a guy there, annoying as fook nicknamed Inspector Gadget. Dai Hunt type.

We actually moved because if him.

Apparently he chanted this at someone who had probably left early because of the annoying c**t a
nd the fella turned an went for him.

So be warned. People can leave when they like.

Im not a fan of people leaving early, but like myself some people have genuine reasons, at the end of the day the club has had that individuals money and thats all that counts so surely they can leave when they chose.

Im not knocking the the fans that have commitments ie work etc, fans have been leaving in their droves over past few games,i know we have"nt been playing to good of late, but for the players to see supporters leaving the ground in their masses cant do their moral much good, with our support to the very end there's always a chance of getting back into the game.. :old: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Unfortunately it always has and always will be a problem, but i would rather 10,000 fans leave early than the 10,000 fans not turn up at all. :ayatollah:

If players dont want to see fans early then quite simply give them something worth staying for.

Last two home ganes weve been woeful

Also its the fans who stay in the concourse drinking beer rather than being in the stands i worry about more than people leaving early, but again they have paid their money so its their choice.

As ive said youve paid your money, so its your choice at the end of the day, people need to worry more about the fans who dont turn up at all, rather than the ones who leave early.

People leaving early, I bet if we cast a poll, those saying about leaving early are those supporters who live in cardiff ;)
Just remember, we are not as fortunate as to live near our football club, some supporters not getting home until gone midnight, so just spare a thought for those supporters. I never leave early, but for the first time against hull it crossed my mind, the thought of getting home before 11pm as I get up for work at 4.30am did cross my mind :ayatollah:

Too true, 2 of us traveled down from Aberystwyth on Tuesday night, had to finish work early to get down there and after being 3-0 down we left 3 mins from the end, with the fog on the way home we got home at 12:20 and I had to be in work for 6 in the morning. so obviously we're not loyal supporters....

West Wales are the loyal supporters eh? Good on you fella. :ayatollah:

Re: "Loyal Supporters"

If people want to leave early its up to them; they pay their money the same as everyone who stays. The thing that really pisses me off though is that they often stop to watch the game or talk to mates ten rows down while dawdling out, meaning they are stood right in front of those who choose to stay and who can't then see whats actually happening on the pitch.

Yep we're sure are, coming down again today with my 2 kids and 1 of their friends, costing £50 a time in petrol but we're not loyal as sometimes we leave early in the night games...

There's no difference in someone who stays till the end or leaves 10 minutes to go ! Everyone pays so they can come and go as they please .Why people keep bringing this boring subject up every week is beyond me

What about the little fella from North Wales doesnt miss a game home or away. Been going for donkeys years. Often in midweek games on his own.

If he leaves early is he not loyal?

Im not going today, got work at 4pm
first home league game I have missed for about 6 years. And I got to be honest I aint all that bothered, Im not loyal though
Also I have never left early always, but against Hull I seriously contemplated walking out after 70mins, as I ws meant to be in a poker tourny the same night and the cut off point was 9.30pm. Wish I had f*cking left now
