" UPDATED " MUAMBA,Our thoughts are with you and your family

Sat Mar 17, 2012 6:17 pm

This evening 19th March 2012.

Fabrice Muamba is now breathing on his own, talking in French and English and moving his arms and legs. He's even recognising visitors too. Still a long way to go but this is all very positive indeed. :ayatollah:

19th March 2012.
Hospital say Muamba's heart is beating without the help of medication. "His long term prognosis will remain unclear for some time"

Hospital say he's showing "small signs of improvement" and is moving his arms and legs.

He remains 'critical, but stable'

Looks serious. Hope he hasnt died. Worrying.

The initial speed of the response and the quality of the treatment seems to be giving him a fighting chance.

Our thoughts are with him and his family. :ayatollah:

From BBC

White Hart Lane is a very subdued place at the moment while everybody awaits news of Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba. Ian Dennis, BBC Radio 5 live's chief football reporter, has just reported that Muamba is fighting for his life.

Lucky it didnt happen at NP we used to chant "Let him die" whenever an oppo player went down.

Put things into perspective eh. Horrible seeing him fit like that.

Just collapsed. BBC are reporting that he was not breathing going through the tunnel. Game abandoned as it should be.

Awful news! It puts everything into perspective let alone Sport. For a 23 year old kid to go through such a horrid thing is unbelievable. Pray that he's going to be ok.
