The squad & management deserve all the praise if I'm completely honestly, great result today and Cardiff may have given them the greatest gift if they finish 8th. Now I'm not one of those people that comes out with those pathetic threads saying 'we are welsh, we should support each other'. Like f**k, I still strongly believe their fans deserve the lowest calibre of football in the pits of the English football system, we have fickle fans but still a huge hardcore following...the people of Swansea as we all know are a JOKE. In contrast, as a football fan I can't be blind to good football, they have an ethos and they've stuck to it. They have taken the league by storm,and if I'm honest its not bothered me as much as I though it would. Im sure a lot of you would admit the same if you gave up the steroid mentality.

One thing that does do my nut in as how overly complimentary Rodgers is, not even fergie boasts so much. Im sure someone can give me a quote he gave at an interview a few months bag....priceless.

They will decline from their very good position at this moment in time, a club of that size cannot last forever with a small fan base unless an oil tycoon come along. They will be there for a few seasons however, as long as the boat doesn't get rocked during the summer by the big boys looting the likes of sig, sinclair etc...

Personally last season if I imagined Swansea getting plaudits in the big time, Id want to top myself. haha. Reality has proven otherwise, its a surreal feeling cos I'm actually not bothered at all.

80% of the braggers from the west on here were nowhere to be seen last season and season before, from crowds of 9k to sell outs and banning of Utd shirts etc....thats what gets me going. ALL ABOARD THE BANDWAGON!!

Everyone says we will get found out next season.. What is there to find out? Teams know how we play and any decent manager will have scouts at several games before they play us.

To set up against you, go 433 with the top three pushing hard against your back four, in all honesty they are not that good at their role, but British players run back to get into their preset defensive formation instead of pushing up again you. Norwich and Blackburn did roughly that.

Ashley Williams has played for a ridiculous amount of games and is reliable, he is due an injury (hope not, he is Welsh after all)

Scott Sinclair ripped the championship apart last season, is his bird affecting his performance, will he move closer to Lancashire ?

We do tend to struggle more when we get pressured in defence, but Manchester city gave us far to much room at the back leaving us able to play through their midfield. I didn't goto fulham today so can't comment but I presume something similar happened there.

It's really difficult because if a team does push up to our defence it just gets played over them to the wingers.. Leaving space in midfield.. The football we play requires the right players... Gylfi is an amazing passer of the ball and I think 7 million will get him in the summer.. He likes it here so signing him must be a priority.

Ashley Williams has been amazing, not missed a league game for years. Quality defender.

Sinclair has been quieter than last season and I would say dyer has been our best winger this year..

Saying that.. I wouldn't change our wingers for anyone... (unless Eden hazard fancies a trip to south Wales )

Can remember the time when they went up to the First division with Toshack. 6th in their first season. They can, at least, match that this season. Not losing any sleep about it either. Good to see a Swanzea fan on here who wants to discuss seriously about the football, and our two clubs.

It's weird seeing them do so well but it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would either. It will soon be back to the way it's supposed to be. I remember Reading having an amazing first season when they got to the Prem a few years ago, they got the same treatment as the Jacks are getting now.. they then started to sink the season after and got relegated. Not many clubs the size of Swansea become Premier League regulars.

in fairness i only come on here at first to slag you off,and for years could not wear or own anything blue,,even reading anything with the word cardiff in it i could not say it and would have to miss saying it and move on,but to be honest iv got talking to a few and found that allto they are bluebirds they are the same as me,hard suffering die hard fans.
