When wales were absolutely shit during the 80s and 90s, finnishing bottom of the 5,6 nations championship and loosing to the likes of canada, they still managed to fill the cardiff arms park-mill'stad! more than you can say for the welsh football fans! I'm not a rugby fan but I am a fan of the way the welsh rugby fans get behind our country :ayatollah:

Not a dig boss, far from a dig!! I just wish the welsh public would get behind our national football team like we do with our national rugby team, in good times or bad! Having a passionate crowd behind our countrys sporting teams gos a long'long way

Hate the egg-chasers. Embarrassment to Wales. Only come out once or twice a year. Mickey Mouse game. No other country takes it seriously.

Getting behind yor national team and being loud and proud, singing welsh songs in good times or bad is embarrassing? There's nothing embarassing about getting behind yor country wether its 2 times a year or 20 times a year! Simple fact is.. If the welsh public got behind there national football team like the welsh rugby fans do then maybe we would be going to a few worldcups or euro cups, just look at the irish!

Top notch comment.

I will not get embroiled in a egg v CCFC debate again but I will say this most rugby fans I know who don't support Football in any manner of form always ask how Cardiff are doing and seem disappointed when they lose, which is a lot more than some Cardiff fans on here do.

I would never want Wales to fail at anything, NO TRUE Welshman would.

Like I said, you can knock the welsh rugby fans all you want but the fact is, that millenium stadium is always full or nearly full no matter who the welsh rugby are playin, and they aint afraid to sing and be proud no matter how daft they might look.. There there for one thing and that's to support our country! As I said, I'm not a rugby fan but I admire them for the way they turn up and show passion

Fair enough. The way you worded 'more than you can say for the welsh football fans!' made me think that was a bit of a dig.

Patriotic for a few hours every year, crowd made up with tarts in cowboy hats & fat blokes in rugby shirts, it's an event more than anything on the same lines as the Notting Hill carnival. They're so passionate about their sport that the bread & butter games their heroes play in week after week are played out in near empty stadiums.

There was a few thousand empty seats only last week against Italy, club rugby attendances are at a all time low..And yet they estimated 250,000 rugby fans were decending on Cardiff for the French game..
Plastics, the f*cking lot of them.
