It's not to bad really, theres a set match day menu, fish and chips, pie and chips etc, and a carvery

Its OK but seems a bit daft to have a pub where you cant get a drink unless you eat on match days. I can understand why but they must be losing trade as a result. I certainly can't afford to buy four meals every home game in order to get one or two pints.

Been in a few times, including last Wednesday,,,its ok, not too busy, match day menu, food ok. You get a table, order at the bar & a waiter brings food & drink too you.

dont think many can associate with this pub before a game , usually go round Canton in the Corp :ayatollah:

Awful pub. Nothing to recommend about it at all.

Sounds like my father, so should be ideal for him. I don't go their all the time, & its certainly not a "lads" pub, but for a decent meal & pint just before the game, & on the CCS's doorstep its just the job.

Went last week before the Hull game and had a lovely meal with my 17 year old son!

You have to get a table and it's number, before you go to the bar to order your food & drinks!

You don't have to stick to the match day menu and last week my son had a carvery, where you can have two choices of beef, turkey or ham (pay another £1 and you can have all three choices) and I had a gammon steak, chips & peas meal!

As this was a weekday, my son's carvery and my gammon steal meal came to £10, ie., 2 meals for a tenner as part of a Monday to Friday offer! :D

A pint of Banks bitter is £2.55! :ayatollah:

its not a pub... its a restaurant, you cant go to the bar and get a pint you order it and they bring it to your table and in my case that was 10 mins after i ordered it bloody ridiculous place would never go there again, and to cap it all the manager and staff in my experience look down at us hooligan football supporters :old: :old: i wonder if the same restrictions apply on rugby days

I bet the beer is 500% better than ccs. I know I keep going on about it and I started a thread on it but the beer which WE PAY for at OUR stadium is shite.

I've never been but know a lot of people have and said its very good value.
As mentioned above gd Carvery is always mentioned as excellent value

Had a carvery there once to try it, not a patch on a Toby carvery. Toby is much better. Barons court penarth road is nice.
