Reading away

Anyone on here remember Reading away, only other year...Tus night game, Me, Mikey (rip), penny, glen, glen j, tony, fatty, peter m etc about 30 of us. Got to reading early doors put in a put by the old bill told you cant drink anywhere else in reading. pfft f**k that after a few beers we promptly ingored the old bills requests to stay put and just walked though them. About 15 of us being followed by 2 of reading brightest policemen..20 yards behind. Il never forget for as long as i live, as we walked around a corner mikey turned and said 'run' we all ran down the street andf turned left again....by the time the old bill had turned the corner we were already ordering our first beers in yates bar. Pissing ourslefs as one of the lads rang and said the old bill turned the corner and had a look of shock on there face ' where have they gone?' 5 mins later Potato head walks in with a big grin on his face with the 2 coppers from reading, 'we followed you on the camreas the whole way boys'. well we burst out laughing, we knew that but the 2 coppers who were following looked like muppets it was great. Potato head has since said that was one of the funniest things he had seen following city lads in 30 years...mind you reading chef inspector wasnt to happy wanted to send us home! Few well behaved beers later he was happy to let us go to the game. you had to be there but it was class. Another of Mikey's great trips never a dull moment always many a story!
