Playing 4-6-0 with zero pace in the side is not a great formation is it really?

Weve got two many similair players in midfield thats why he plays 6 in there

The thing is its not funny....
What are we trying to do ?
We need to make the field wider, so our class player(s) can have more than a millisecond on the ball, but we make it narrower.

Its like when we were kids and everyone just chased the ball.

agree, we are too narrow, and find it difficult to break teams down going through two lines of 4. we need to stretch the opposition , we need width and the spaces will come..

On tuesday everyone just buched up on the left of the pitch like a school playground

Most of the time we play 5-5-0. Whitts is always too deep and Kenny then comes too far back to fill in for Whitts. Then Turner and Hudson constantly play long balls to the opposition defence because they are too thick to notice Kenny isnt there!

I dont see the point of bringing lawrence in and keepin cowie in the team.
Decent player but too similair to what we already got. ie neat, works hard but no pace.
Kiss, Conway, Harris, Ralls, Earnie even could give us some energy and spark we are clearly missing.
Not saying throw them all in but the starters and positions on Tuesday is clearly not a recipe for success.
Too many square pegs in round holes and Some players look dead on their feet.

He is , wingers, width is all im asking for why play five in the middle and when i say middle i mean MIDDLE of the pitch if there all within 10yards of eachother and if are fullbacks are pushed back by there wingers whoever we are playing have a field day as we only hit the wing if kev or taylor get forward. Thats why we play hoofball so much, its madness

Bothroyd is the most complete striker we have had at this club, i'd welcome him back with open arms.
