Malky never really wanted 8 or 9 of the existing squad, they were here when he arrived and if we were honest most never get a game, so who do you think will be gone ?

I have been told that virtually all the players that were not originally Malkys will be shipped out this Summer and Malky will bring in another 9 to 10 players that he feels he can trust and work with.

If he does do this then it makes you wonder who he'll bring in.

Depending who the players are he wants to ship out it dont leave many but it's a matter of re building so it will be another eventful summer no doubt

To be fair other than Heaton and maybe Blake I look at all those players and think none of them are anywhere near good enough, the money saved on the wages of all those players would be a hell of a lot as well.

In saying that im sure MM would have liked rid of them before now but unless they are out of contract or someone is willing to match what we are paying them then they wont leave.

I also believe that a few of the current starting XI won't be in the starting XI next season and will have to be happy with a role on the subs bench !.

Hopefully not McPhail, he mite be the most exciting but he's just the sort of person this team needs, calm on the ball, does the simple things to create space for others like Whitts allowing them to do their thing! Sooner he's back the better

I hope if McPhail does have to retire they give him a coaching role in the staff. If anyone deserves it he does.

If so next season and the season after will be brilliant, he's built half a squad this year, next year a full one, and the year after improvements.

I think it'd about time most of them left and these will leave:

Gerrard(poor attitude, we have better, wouldn't mind him staying, not going to hate him for a penalty like some)

Keinan(sad, he's been quite good tbf)

Annis I agree with what you are saying. malky appears to have no time for the remnants of DJ's squad. He must have a hit list of players who may be released in the summer either in England or Scotland. His thoughts on players generally need to be hard working individuals who will run their hearts out for his team. If thats the case then I cannot wait for next season. If we fail this year I hope we go flat out for automatic next season

And this is partly why I think we should judge Malky on what happens next season, any achievement this year is a bonus.

McPhail will be a big loss, but if he's ill then its not helping anyone for him to be flogging himself. IF however he can play a part it'll be like gaining an extra signing.

There is a big saving in wages on that lot, so maybe we could bring in 7-8 decent players, which will give us the squad stength we need, especially if the Malaysians make the sort of money available as they did for the Sordell and Noone bids.

I hope every player he brings in is lightning fast, this has to be overall the slowest side in a long time and I remember Mark Harris!

Still very disappointed/frustrated he has had all season to address the lack of pace and width in the side plus a decent centre forward yet here we are in Mid March completely sussed out with exactly the same problems!

Hope Darcy, Heaton and Mcphail stay, not bothered about Gerrard think Keinan is a lot better but clearly Malky doesn't.

Whoever he signs Cowie will still get in mind, talk about his blue eyes. Don't get why everyone thinks hes so special? Runs around a lot (Should be bare minimum), no pace, can't beat a man- should be a squad player give me Conway over him anyday.

His starting lineup usually includes Whittiongham, hudson and Mc Naughton. McPhail when fit. Any of the others are probably available at the right price.

Earnie will not be in Malkys plans ! Whits will stay, Miller will stay, others who hav` nt featured in Malkys plans this season will obviously go !
