Watching Chelsea and thinking how average they are, the 5th best league team going furthest in europe.

Di Matteo showing his class now and not even shaking the hands of the manager. Horrible little club.

Been saying it all season Luke. It is a very poor league this season.

Always poor IMO. 4 'big teams', 5 competing for Europe places, 4 solid, mid-table teams. 7 teams fighting for survival.
Wheras in the Championship you could have 4 going for auto's, a further 8 going for play/off's, 5 trying to stay up, then the rest in the middle somwhere. Point being, in August, you could have named any 10 teams for competing for P/O's, whereas you would have said either Man Utd or City to win the Prem.

I think it's more a problem with Man U's mentality this season.
They seem a bit out of depth in cup competitions.
They struggled against 10 men Man City, Struggled against Liverpool, got beaten by Crystal palace.

To me Man-u look about 11 players short for a squad yet they still manage to get top of the table. Thats why its so important to set up an infrastructure like I hope and it seems like MM is doing. Build from the bottom up.

Without a doubt the worst premiership in a few years. The Champions league is where the top teams set their marker, and the English clubs are miles behind the top teams in Spain. It was only a few years ago there were two or three English clubs getting to the semis. Now they are struggling to get one in the quarters.

man u needed a 37 yr old to put his boots back om to kick start their season.poor standard.not the best league in the world at all.may be most exciting.thats two different things.gary neville calls it right about the defending this year.when a 37 yr old is bossing games what does that tell you about man utds opponents?great player but should he be a main man at his age?.giggsy should be playing lower than the prem at his age yet he,s one of the best in the prem.i like watching it but it is mistake ridden to the core

Been getting worse last few seasons... Not the greatest of leagues at the moment... Need players to come through rather than picking up players abroad on stupid money
